Quick question to the regulars of the fling..

what am i roughly going to be looking at for fuel for the weekend .. in costs im dont plan on being in the main group out infront . plan on being in the "scenic" /family / leisurely drivng group.. so dont think thatl horse as much petrol and yous away out infront ...

just so can start keeping funds to cover petrol costs for the weekend. also am i right in thinking il need a jery can for spare vpower or octane booster or both?

The fast group the year before last I spent roughly £250 , last years I stuck to the slower group and used £187 .

I usually allow for a tank of fuel each day and use a bit less - some people take jerry cans of vpower, i usually just take a couple of bottles of good octane booster - saturday morning theres tesco 99 and vpower in inverness, sat night stop has 98 ron so depends how mapped/paranoid you are

i went thru about a 2 tankfulls and a jerry can to get ther and back home. and i was in the slow (???) group.what the better types of noctane boost as its something ive never used and was not sure if it was any good

cars just standard blobeye , so fi edinburgh up basicly . so now hotels are paid for , its just fuel and food etc to be covered . hope we have the weather too

Start of the new year start of the maintainace before the fling . Need a rear coilover and a service and that's pretty much me oh and an mot in 2 weeks then that's pretty much me oh and some decent tunes and that's pretty much me ?.

Cambelt service for me. Time rather than miles dictates. Mot also.

think it will be a service and possible m.o.t for me.cant mind the dates and have a little money for playing so looking at possibpe new tyres or brake discs ...

Depending on which car I take will depend on what's required. Either way a timing belt will be required. Would love to have the RA "complete" by then but failing that the new car will get a good run out.
