scoobyseller555 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 nearly the same price as mt flat you can't drive a flat Gav
wrxmania Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 you can't drive a flat Gav What will depreciate fastest - a car or a flat lol...
Ovv Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 (edited) Not keen on the looks, side on pics kinda makes it look like a lexus on steroids - fat a*** and no spoiler. Edited September 14, 2010 by Ovv
scoobykev Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Don't like it and that fog light is just gonna get smashed everytime you hook up the caravan.
scouk Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Priced at £32995!!! EEEK......... :P Not to metnion £400+ quid a year on road tax.. Sod that! I'll stick with my £245/year Bugeye! It's sooo not worth that sort of money..They got away with the RB320 at that sort of price but it was a special edition..
terzo neil Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 but on the flat side, got a good leather sofa to sit on and a 42 inch lcd telly to watch would like that, but got 2 scoobies already whats the road tax like, is the high end of 440 quid
cusco kid Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I am biased, but...It's an absolute dog's breakfast! From the front, looks like the hatch, and that's the bit of the hatch I like the least. From the back, looks like a Hyundai. From the side it's lost all the simplicity and smoothness of the previous saloon, i.e. - An odd, irregular-shaped line around the windows. - An ugly quarterlight. - Pillars around the door windows where before there were none. Utterly abysmal C'mon Subaru, screw the nut! so you do like it then,go on you no you want one lol
cusco kid Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 What will depreciate fastest - a car or a flat lol... your hatch ,lol thats why i got rid of mine geo
ciaranrb5 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I likey but way to expensive maybe in 5 years. It also needs a big frik off spoiler
subarucraig Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 but in 10 years time where the fxxk is the spoiler though
bobbyc Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 (edited) As much as I try to I just don't like the hatch & i don't think much of the saloon either, if I had £32,000 to spend you can get a lot of car for the cash, is it fitted with the same chocolate engine that keeps going pop, I will pop in to see it in the flesh tomorrow but can't see me changing my mind. Theres quite a few people recently getting rid of their hatches now as after ownership they haven't cut it. Edited September 14, 2010 by bobbyc
scoobyseller555 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I am in the trade as most of you know,i think myself included are a bit out of touch with the retail prices of new cars in general these days, you just have to look on the Ford or Vauxhall website to see how expensive all cars are getting.I have just built a fiesta on the ford website at £17365...............for a fiesta. Gav
scoobyseller555 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 As much as I try to I just don't like the hatch & i don't think much of the saloon either, if I had £32,000 to spend you can get a lot of car for the cash, is it fitted with the same chocolate engine that keeps going pop, I will pop in to see it in the flesh tomorrow but can't see me changing my mind.Theres quite a few people recently getting rid of their hatches now as after ownership they haven't cut it. LOL,yeah the same 'chocolate' engine, just like the one in yours. Pop in and see it Bobby,it does look pretty good in the flesh. Gav
bobbyc Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 LOL,yeah the same 'chocolate' engine, just like the one in yours. Pop in and see it Bobby,it does look pretty good in the flesh. Gav Taking my dad out of the home in Camelon tomorrow Gav so i'll pop in for a blether about 11:30ish
scoobyseller555 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 no bother Bobby,i'll stick the kettle on!!
Richie Cross Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Mmm, while I didn't like the hatch to start with, it did grow on me. In the first photo where you can see a hatch in the background, the hatch looks a lot better. The back end looks....er...American to me. I know what I mean anyway!!
4Hero Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Not a fan. Does it squeek 'n rattle any less then previous models after a couple of weeks from new Gav
scoobywho Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 It just looks like Subaru have aimed for the USA market with this one, the rear needs a spoiler and a nicer fog light it looks like the type you stick on an import for an MOT then take it back off as you leave the Garage.
mystery machine Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 so you do like it then,go on you no you want one lol Honestly, I would sooner massage my goolies with an angle-grinder than I would spend my hard-earned on something as incoherently designed as that your hatch ,lol thats why i got rid of mine geo I didn't realise you'd punted the hatch. What are you driving now?
lewisscoob Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 That boot looks like an after thought, like the VW Jetta, Focus Saloon and the vauxhall belmont back in the day. There's not enough room on the boot for a spoiler IMO. Not for me at all. I would certainly have a hatch over that.
mystery machine Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 That boot looks like an after thought, like the VW Jetta, Focus Saloon and the vauxhall belmont back in the day. Good way of putting it. What we'd do for a decent-looking Impreza STI coupe!
Kosy Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Scary price! I'm sure someone will pay that for it but for me it's too much for a non special edition. I would hate to guess what the depreciation would be on that?! Down to £20k after 12 months? For £32k I'd get a used RS4 or E92 M3
BalliSTIc Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Theres quite a few people recently getting rid of their hatches now as after ownership they haven't cut it. For MY part, couldn't disagree with you more, sir! Must say I like both hatch and this... although 32K seems a little steep. Whatever happened to the phrase "performance bargain"?
ac1867 Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I do prefer that over the hatch, and would have one in a few years time.
