  2. Sorry I couldnt make it guys, I had to work yesterday. See you all soon though I'm sure. Andy
  3. I have used both S4U and Colin a few times and would recommend both, although S4U seem pricey. I have had a few runs done on the rollers at S4U and yes they use a big fan in front of the car to simulate air passing over the car as on the road. HTH Andy
  4. Cool, a 2 minute drive. I bet I'm still late though.
  5. Hi I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. The car would just cut out randomly, would re-start every time, until it did it once and just would not start again. It turns out it was the standard imobiliser causing the issue, stopping any signals to the fuel pump. It was repaired temporarily by putting a wire from an ignition live directly to the pump (not a permanent fix obviously). Obviously this might not be your problem but may be something worth thinking about if you are still using the standard UK security. Andy
  6. Hi All. As title really, weather dependant of course. Its not a large event or anything just a rwyb. Thanks Andy
  7. I know that feeling, since re-map nothing but problems engine keeps cutting out so gonna try a new crank sensor as I have read plenty of others having the same problem due to a faulty one.
  8. Cool. Are you going for a standard rebuild or having a few choice extras?
  9. Ouch!! you got it back yet then?
  10. Never mind I didn't realise jap show was on Sunday. I can't do Sunday but am trying for Saturday.
  11. I was hoping to go on the Saturday, which day were you going? Are you taking the wrx?
  12. Hi.

What year is your car, I'll keep my eye out.

  13. Thanks guys I might be going to Santa Pod if I can get the clutch sorted before.
  14. A big thanks to Simon (jgm) for mapping my uk t2000. My figures before were 212bhp 160ft lb, but after adding a h&s sport cat and a vf28 turbo and an ecutek map, it made 297bhp and 315ft lb, with the clutch possibly slipping. It slipped on the road test any way so needs replacing and putting back on the rolling road, to give it a check over and maybe get a wee bit more from it.
  15. Sorry I can't make this, my remap has left me more than skint. Worth it though
  16. Blimey, this came around fast , I should still be there, car not looking its best at the mo though, had to rush a couple of jobs to prep for re-map which is this Friday
  17. I had to get my off side rear pipe replaced as it broke when fitting braided hoses. It went into a block behind the fuel tank and then dissapeared into the car, this block was very rusty but he managed to free it and replaced this pipe without dropping the tank out. But to do the near side one I can well beleive you would need to drop the tank.
  18. Coooool, what was the problem with it? And where did you get the work done? Andy
  19. I do prefer that over the hatch, and would have one in a few years time.
  20. Hi you need to use the ing tags I Think it's something like that. Edit Sorry that didn't work I tried to type it but it's a pita from the iPad.
