  1. Hi all, My '99 Turbo Wagon has failed its MOT and needs a complete set of brake pipes. However the guy that works at the garage hasn't done these before and says it looks like a nightmare to replace as the rear pipes appear to run behind the fuel tank hence are inaccessible without dropping the tank. Is this the case or is there an easier solution? Has anybody witnessed the same problem?? Any help will be hugely appreciated cheers in advance guys
  2. My 99 Turbo Wagon is going in for a full service at my local garage and I was just wondering what oil everybody would recommend? I have heard 10w 40 mentioned quite a bit on here, but has anybody got any preferred brands or is it just a case of whatever I can get?? Also, I have read somewhere about upgrading spark plugs? Is this a common thing to do on a service? cheers in advance
  3. HELLO!!!! Newbie to the whole Impreza world, my first scooby and I decided to go for the wagon, hope you like her!!
  4. Should be a weapon when completed matey My wagon is currently bog-standard apart from the wheels... What plugs and filters do you recommend as my service is due shortly and I want a full change, oil/plugs/filter etc??
  5. Cheers guys, I hope to get some proper pics up once I get her washed and polished. Weather is not great for car washing up here at the minute!!
  6. Cheers mate, I am chuffed to bits with it. Pretty tidy for its age
  7. Will get some more on,when it stops raining and I can clean it!!
  8. I have a couple of pics but am totally useless on a computer!! Is it easy to post pics??
  9. Hi folks, I recently purchased my 1999 turbo wagon. Never owned or even drove an Impreza until now so I am a complete virgin! I had a very limited budget but I am delighted with what I have gained for my money. Couple of quick Q's for you more experienced owners out there.... 1. What oil are you running similar cars on? Obviously fully synthetic but which grade? 2. Currently has Toyo Proxes all round, seem good in the wet and would probably replace like for like unless you would recommend something else? 3. Any other advice/info for a new guy?! Cheers in advance
