scouk Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Hi All, As some of the local guys are probably all ready aware, I was planning on standing down as R/O for Morayshire. Just don't really have the time and commitment levels that I've had previously to help move the club forward, last 12 months not much has happened in Moray and it needs a change! After much local deliberation ScoobyDoom (Pete) has risen to the challenge of taking over the Regional Organiser position for moray! I know he'll do the region proud! He's pestered me long enough the past couple of years about things that can be done in the area which we haven't had a chance to do, so looking forward to things picking up again in the area, there's constantly new local names popping up on here and new Scoobys around here! Not sure I'll be able to make any evening meets that there will be due to early school nights but I'll still be around in one way or another, probably helping out with the bigger events if possible.. Cheers!

flat4phil Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Good luck Al, you did a fine job and I don't envy anyone rising the challenge in this fair region. I never have fully understood why the area is such a mixed bag of highs and lows?
scooby doom Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 The new RO finally emerges... Sorry for the delay in chirrping up but I’ve been away all week. I’m on a residential course at the moment and getting home Friday night, only to be away again Sunday afternoon. Havng just finished the second of the four weeks I’ve already had 2 exams and practical 2 assessments but still have 2 more exams and 1 more assessent to go - not quite sure of the glass is half empty or half full tbh. As I’ll be away til nearer the end of the month I’ll not be about much but should be ready and rearing to go once back. As for ideas and plans, giving nothing away Anyhoo, thanks for the messages of support and to Al for the smooth transition. ‘mon the RO’s
