the squiggle Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Grant,The photo showing the inside of the boot (spare wheel well), looks as if it has an extra boot floor brace welded in?...or am i misreading the photo? craig. Correct it runs across the spare wheel well Cage is a Safety 21 bolt in cage that has had its connections welded and extra bars put on. Tidy wee WRC style plates connect the cage to the chassis at various points throughout the shell. Certainly feels a lot stiffer than the blue car
seafar99 Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Grant, Bonnet looks to be f/glass? Boot lid and doors ?
G.Mac Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 bonnet is carbon fiber, im sure the boot lid and doors are standard Graeme
thewelsho Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 (edited) Well that is certainly something different. Love the wheels, the body kit, spolier and colour. Just not set on the side-mounted graphics. Certainly a head-turner - outstanding presence and spectacle. Looking forward to seeing this up close! Enjoy it mate! EDIT: Oh yeah! The seats and harnesses - Yeah HUH! Edited February 28, 2009 by TheWelsho

4Hero Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Superb Grant, you're a mad man If you are ever down West Lothian way, we must meet up for a little photoshoot. There's a couple of places close to me which would be very nice backdrops!

scoobyiain Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Sorry but i really dont like it. Each to thier own tho.
uRaBu5 Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Certainly different Grant but i’d expect nothing less! Must admit a huge smile came to me face when I thought about what me wee bruv would have thought – in fact i’m shure I can here him laughing now, but in a very good way and certainly wanting to be manhandled into it. Hope the smile never leaves your face and enjoy every moment. Life’s too short. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh – i’ll even put on the shades. Derek

colin_ross Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Lookin good Grant. So you gonna turn the blue one into a sensible daily driver?
RA Dunk Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 i think a double roof scoop would be the buisness, give it the proper rally slag look
st3ph3n Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Entitled to an opinion indeed, but a first post of that nature smells of someone "at it". More than happy to be proven wrong though. The humble pie is in the oven and the fat lady is warming up.......
RA Dunk Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Entitled to an opinion indeed, but a first post of that nature smells of someone "at it". that was the impression i got as well, not exactly a great start togetting to know people in the club, unless he knows grant already
the squiggle Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Lookin good Grant. So you gonna turn the blue one into a sensible daily driver? Compared with the Yellow one i would regard the Blue car as very sensible and Imy's RA is now regarded as Lexus like with its s****y heating and radio
