aye tht will be my car probably ma wife drivin it though. but there was a 4 door yellow one wi blue mud flaps goin about for a while aswell.

Out at sw mototorsport today to get my 5000rpm stutter looked at ,steve sorted it in 5 mins had a cracked pipe from manifold to boost solenoid, car now goes like a rocket good guy who aint full o crap cant recomend him enough. cheers steve.

To be honest neo i could have done it much cheaper but i used dupont paint thats was £680,car got 6 coats as yellow is murder to cover then a good quality lacquer over it not cheap 40 quid stuff.other stuff i bought was bumper clips that are 3 quid from ebay some 10mm nuts and bolts ,self taper screws for splitters and some new clips to hold side skirts on as these will probably burst when u remove them.cant give u a proper price as my cuz painted the car and i stripped and put it back together.i spent just over £1000 but that includes version 6 spoiler ,new indicators ,decals and gucci dupont paint.

well cant get strip from breakers so looks like the 95 quider sayin tht could be worse as the back window surround is £300 ahhhhgggggg.

alrdy tried them do u have any links for other breakers cheers.

Any 1 know where i can get the strip under the window for a 2 door type r dont wanna pay subaru dealer price it is shocking.(drivers side).

car almost finished just some bits and bobs to do tomorrow if weathers good.Heres some pics. more pics to come rebuilt.

not painting slam panel or engine bay as the paint in there is ok,its a different yellow from the car but all yellow ones i have saw r the same for some weird reason.

was thinkin about a mental wrap neil but lookin at £1000 for that,but my cuz has just opened a paint shop in edinburgh so wont cost me anywhere near that as i will be stripping rubbing and putting the car back together. cathy yours sounds a good idea as the car isnt gonna move much now so got time to mess about wi polish paint and powder coating.gonna text u cathy anyway got some subaru ???s for ya.

alrighty guys car is a 2 door type r, tried machine and was total waste off time also had paint tested and there isnt much paint on the car its ultra thin. the car isnt dull it does shine but plastic bits r different colour just looks bad .

I have a yellow car that has decided to fade like the rest but fancy painting it back to its old self , do u think people would become a bit suspect if i ever came to sell it wondering why its been painted,There is no damage on the car and it has all its panels that it left factory with apart from carbon bonnet.

Any 1 got an idea where i can source a fitting kit for a blitz dump valve , im sure i just need the blanking plug but unsure what size.I alrdy have the silicon hose to the manifold but dunno what else is missing.thx

HI only mods car has is ninja exhaust only 1 cat, uprated fuel pump , panel filter and blitz iriduim plugs that have been in a car a while. yes it does it in every gear but i notice it more in second.sorry for slow reply been busy thx.

Have a small problem when the car hits 5000 rpm it dies then when u change up gear pulls ok again , I had a problem before with a knackered fuel pump so fitted a new uprated 1 and car started and ran ok apart from this 5000 rpm problem any 1 any ideas. I done the code check thing and it showed code 22 (knock link sensor i think)would this cause the problem ,i was thinking spark plugs or coil pack. car is a 1997 type r with coil pack on manifold.

Gutted for ya auldy but beware now they know where the car is they will be back. where i live is a dumpin spot for stolen cars i c this happen every other night. The police know who these people r but nothing ever seems to happen to them.If the worst happens and they do get it 2 spots to look for it are miller hill coal yard or the back field behind jack kane centre but by then it will probably be burnt to kill forensic evidence sad but true so up yer security big time.

yeah thats what i was thinkin mike thx will try ball joints next think they r only about 30 quid. if that fails bushes next.

Any 1 any ideas what can cause a slight suspension knock on a type r. I have changed front drop links but now noticed rubber top mounts have slight cracks, could this be the problem and where can i buy these. Suspension setup is bilsteins with pink sti springs.

check the 30 amp block fuse under the bonnet happened to me once.

Decided to change my front drop links today since the weather was good and found the worst thing ever my yokohama paradas cracked on the inside side wall. This is the second time this has hapened to me last time was on city bypass when the tyre decided to totaly crack all the way round and pull car to the left at 70 mph but no damage done . Got home checked other tyres to find them all cracked on the inside .Anyway today i have now found both my fronts have cracked again not checked back yet but im sure they will be cracked .Any 1 else had this problem and what can i do about this the tyres r only about half worn surely i can claim some 1 for this .

The woman u see drivin in milton rd steve will be my wife in the 2 door type r ,it is my car she just thinks its hers lol i get left wi the good old transit van .How good is her drivin anyway im sure she launches from the lights at 5000 rpm this is the 3rd clutch its had .

This car is from edinburgh stays 2 mins away from me east edinburgh people think its me goin about but mine has 2 doors and a carbon bonnet lol.
