a midget with a very big hammer
if you go for a lateral 2.1 stroker kit and new oil modine as this eseentail as all the metal swark from the big/main ends will collect in there and destroy the new build if used again, have looked at this for a new build for my terzo, time i added all the bits includung arp head studs and new oil pump/modine i was over the 2500 quid with no labour costs
depends on how much the car is worth, maybe a late bottom end from a newage with your heads could be a better bet, could be cheaper as well
i left the house at 6am this morning, just back due to weather conditions, had round trip of 500 miles, via inverness, foyers, gorthleck, fort william, oban and finally home
subaru crankshafts dont like being reground as it takes the top layer of nitrate of it, you will end up doing another rebuild very shortly afterwards
best with a new crank or a late complete botom end and bolt your heads on
that could explain why the van has been running rough after filling up with v-power deisel out that way the other day, garage has changed the fuel filter and full of crap/water
