  6. Guys, Feds had a checkpoint on the A90 between Aberdeen and Dundee last night. Motorbike outriders also. They seemed to be pulling folk over into a layby near the petrol station on the left as you head southbound ( A rix station??). Its the one that usually has the sign that says: " Last petrol for 40 miles" on it. Not sure if they will be there today, but take care if your around that way. Al

Think I may some new tyres though, after the second half of that run!!!!! ;-) Shame about the accident, it did look serious, the way the feds were marking off the road. Nice little detour, to check out the housing estates of the north too!! Hope to see you all soon, I'm off down south until the 21st July, but will def be up for meeting up after then. Al

  14. Guys, Gumball is keen to get one last run out before he goes. If anyone is interested in Joining him for a run, on SAT 8th July, I've got a thread running in the events section. Although it says Dundee/Tayside run, start points can easily be arranged for peeps outside of this area. Have a quick look, if you get a spare few minutes. It would be good to see a few of you there. P.S - I've been told that a few people may be heading down to the Borders that day, hope this doesnt conflict too much. Regards Al

  19. Ok guys, Was requested to put this in here as well as the events area. Anyone fancy a blast on Saturday 24th June, leaving Dundee Caird Park Shell station at 10:30 am.? Planning to head North into the Glens, taking in the following places: Coupar Angus-Blairgowrie-Glenshee-Braemar-The Lecht-Grantown On Spey-Aviemore-A9-Dunkeld-Blairgowrie-Coupar Angus-Dundee. We should make it round on one tank, if we leave Dundee full, if we are running short of go-go juice coming down the A9, we can head down to Perth to refuel and go back that way, rather than go via Blair. Hope to see a few of you there, Al Stick your names below if you can make it. So far, have the following Names: 1. Al 2. Col666 3. Paddy
  20. I take my mum shopping in my scoob and use her Disabled sticker to park in the disabled bays. But only if she is with me. I do get some weird and wonderful looks. Otherwise, I either take up two spaces, or park further away from the store and just walk that extra fifty yards to the shop. ;-)
  21. Guys, Sorry for jacking this thread a little, but theres a few of you tayside guys on here. Would any of you be up for a day out in a few weekends time?? It would be goo to meet a few folk and put faces to names, and have a blast before the Glasgow run in Sept. Say Saturday the 24th June? I've got a good route in mind, probably a good 150 miles. Anyone interested? Al

  23. Thanks for the reply, Do you know why it does this? The exhaust system fitted with the Prodrive Kit? Or maybe because they need running with a higher octane petrol i.e Optimax? Cheers Al
