  22. As I said to Robert earlier - regardless of who we raise the monies for , these stickers will do just fine Al.
  23. I've read the thread and deliberatly not posted on it but I've had PMs , phonecalls and text regarding it . I don't mind who we raise money for as long as we do what the majority want - so it is up to you guys to sort it out. As RO I am , by definition , an organiser . Not leader , referee , 'great-dictator' or anything else . I don't/won't make decisions - thats your job. My job is to try to make them work. No 'decisions' were made before that night only 'suggestions' The few who turned up at the last meet decided what the Glasgow area would do and when I asked several times if anyone objected or had other ideas - no one spoke up . I had asked for the donation sheets to be made up for the meet night because it would get the 'ball rolling' and the feedback I'd had at the events leading up to the meet suggested that Jerviswood was the way we were going to go . If the decision had gone any other way the sheets would have been filed under 'bin' and new ones made up in no time at all . I've no problem with the 'poll' on the forum deciding what we do , it makes sense to go with the majority. I'd been seriously considering my position regarding Santa Cruise this year due to my lack of spare time as I am very busy at work for the next month or so (working 7x12hr shifts.). I put a hell of a lot of time into it last year and I simply don't have that time free this year . So whatever is decided we will need volunteers to do the various jobs which have to be done . I'm also worried that time is running out , so lets get this mess sorted quickly and decide who's doing what , before its too late ! Al.
  24. Congratulations Billyboy Al.
  25. Good work Andy . I can only concur with the posts above . A fitting tribute . Al.
