  21. Still at H.P. mate (Though its not looking good at the moment) I'm a time-served electrician . After a few years working with various companies and contracts I joined a refrigeration firm as a spark . I studied at nightschool and eventually qualified as a refrigeration engineer . I worked with a few other refrigeration companies around the country (Scotland N.England) . Due to family reasons I had to get a job near home , with regular hours , no 24hr call-out . no stand-by , no working away from home etc etc and thats how I ended up stuck in a factory working with an agency for Hewlet Packard . (BTW it was meant to be temporary and I've been there 5 years ) I'm desperately looking for another job - preferably in service industry again . . . . . . . anyone ? Al.
  22. I'm a fridge engineer and worked with a company who's main contracts were a couple of very well known pub chains. I will never be spotted with ice in any drink - anywhere (unless at home ) Al.
  23. There was also the office that I was shown when I lived in Belfast . The brass plaque at the door had their name . . . 'Reid and Wright' . . . . it took my a wee moment before it clicked Al.
  24. My g/f's Mum's maiden name was Teresa Brown . I've worked with 'Bob Downs' and 'Joe King' . My Mum worked with 'Bertie Bottom' who's sister was called Rosie I went to college with Billy Houston who lived out in Lanarkshire and didn't get the joke when us from S/W Glasgow (Govan , Renfrew) nicknamed him 'Bella' He had never heard of Bellahouston park So this made me chuckle BTW The names of the folk commenting are as funny as some in the article. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7909561.stm Al.
