Turned out they were hornets . The pest control guys came out and sprayed stuff on the nests and hopefully killed all the wee buggers . BTW, there was a bit in the Daily Record today about a spaniel called Quinn [&] which is trained to sniff out bees nests in the Hebrides for scientists , because bees are becoming rare and in turn are not pollenating wild plants so they are becoming rare too .[] . . . . . hornets on the other hand are just evil and deserve to die [6] Al.

I wanted to go to KH tonight , but had to prioritise [] My garden was attacked by the gardeners today , who in turn were attacked by the bees whos 2 nests they discovered in my overgrown lawn [] Pest controller is coming tomorrow , but I've been told that the f'ing bees are protected and I'll probably be stuck with them till winter when they clear out . That is good news 'cos now I can tell my neighbours that my garden is not 'a mess' . . . . . . . . . it's 'a conservation area' [] Result [Y] Al.
