  4. Just wondering if anything is in the process of being arranged for the ScottishScoobies faithful...... Either the benefit of those who didnt run at the Dastek Day the other month there, for those who maybe have bought new cars since then, or new members who have just joined and fancy strapping their cars down to see what they make!! Cheers, Grant
  5. Sorry to hear that mate.... Hope you get the car back in perfect condition, or if its a write-off then I hope they off you a realistic price for it!!. Remember to push for some compensation for the injuries that you and your passenger sustained, in addition, you're scared to sit in another car now arent you?? arent you?? Chin up though mate, cars are easily replaced, people arent....... Cheers, Grant
  6. Good lad Scott...... Will look the labs nads on your car mate!! Cheers, Grant
  7. Hi bud, welcome to Scottish Scoobies!! What sort of mods does your car have mate?? Cheers, Grant
  8. I'm meant to be going down with a few mates too.. Cheers, Grant
  9. Sounds like a Dawes Device style controller.... I'm interested, cause you make it sound like it spools up quicker than it did before.. does it?? I was under the impression that you had to have an Electronic Boost Controller to adjust various other settings to make the Turbo spool earlier. Cheers, Grant
  10. Mr drb5.... You'll find out soon enough mate!! Carl, thanks bud, I'm glad you didnt have to brave the elements to find out.. I've been informed that I'm after an ET35 so I dont think yours will suit.. Cheers, Grant
  11. Welcome from North Fife..... Cheers, Grant
  12. What the offset mate?? I might be interested, but it wouldnt be for an Impreza... Cheers, Grant
  13. Heard that you've got to be pretty careful with a power washer, otherwise things could go tits up in a big way... You'll need to cover all electrical points/plugs etc and the intercooler!! Cheers, Grant
  14. What time mate?? I work until about 8.30 in Dundee... Cheers, Grant
  15. << Grant and Imy - any runs organised are appreciated and fair play to you for the work put in to them >> +1....... Big Thanks for Previous Runs, if they hadnt been as well run/organised as they had been, I may have started to moan about the £££'s I spent on petrol... Yes, I am a Fifer!! Cheers, Grant
  16. I would go for the Carbon Splitter, would tie in well with the black flaps and dark wheels.... oh and the very light smoked tints all round!! Stunning car mate!! Cheers, Grant
  17. The borders.... Fookin hell!! I spent a ridiculous amount on petrol for the Mad March One, lol, the Borders isnt going to be far off that this time either!! My Driving Style: Quick, Soon to be joining the Scenery!! Cheers, Grant
  18. I'd be up for this... Sometime towards the end of August sounds good to me, hopefully catching a nice cool day before the cold, icy days creep up on us!! Cheers, Grant
  19. Ormiboy, yea they can sort out very scuffed alloys... My ST2's had a small chunk missing out of one of the wheels where I dinked a kerb sideways @ 40mph in my first Impreza, and the wheels are good as new now. Cheers, Grant
  20. If you could travel to Carnoustie then I'd recommend Coatech..... Coatech: 01241 854 911 No, I'm not making a percentage of profits from them.. Cheers, Grant
  21. Cupraderv.... You've got a reply mate. Cheers, Grant
  22. Coatech in Carnoustie mate... They did the Prodrive ST2's I had on my Wagon and made a perfect job of them, they will do ANY colour you want and IIRC it was around 25quid a wheel. I would recommend travelling just out of Fife to these guys, well worth it, and I know many others on here have used them too. Coatech: (01241) 854 911 Cheers, Grant
  23. Thats what I was thinking.... But I didnt want to tempt fate by saying anything. Sorry to hear that mate. Cheers, Grant
  24. Really sorry to hear this... Kind of makes me glad I moved the Scoob on, this stuff used to be confined to London&England but it seems to have spread north of the border. << What if I'm in a smash and can't get out kinda thing - but now I've read this, I'm happy I'm locked in. >> Once you kill the ignition the doors automatically open.. dont think they'd automatically open a'la Audi Central Locking system once its senses the impact...... as its an aftermarket system you've had fitted. Take care guys and hopefully those ar$eholes run into someone that has a few big mates following them in another car, on a quiet country lane where no 5/0 or CCTV can help the scummy bassas!! Cheers, Grant
  25. Hope its nothing too serious... Cheers, Grant
