Think the new ones are a bit girly when you compare them to a GT4. Aye, its a nippy wee fooker with the 400bhp, as the driver of a ((6 Carrera 4S found out to his peril........ I'm not sure about the RX8's though, however, if its got a Dastek Sticker in the window then I would guess its got a Unichip on-board. << Awesome spec. Does your car have the Air Throttle?, which i believe was fitted to some GT4 WRC's and gives a mild form of Anti lag. Hats off to the Toyota Grant >> Thanks Grant... The spec seems to do the job!! The GT4 WRC's all come with Anti-Lag as part of the homologation regulations at the time... there are other parts they have too W/I capabilities, No ABS etc. All of these are disabled, the Anti-Lag is very harsh, I've read that if enabled it will kill a standard turbo within a few hundred miles. << Must have been a nice surprise Grant! I'm in 2 minds with the FMIC to be honest, I'm tempted to lag the Chargecooler and keep the W/I as the TD06 is reasonably laggy anyway and I'm pretty sure it'll only get worse with the Front Mount. << Well done Grant but that is an awesome spec engine... >> Thanks mate, it was rebuilt down in Nottingham by a respected specialist on the Owners Club...... and I cant praise the work he's done enough, the car is a bit of a monster, but still very easy to drive despite the paddle clutch, etc. Cheers, Grant

  4. ...well, I nearly pissed myself laughing when I was told what my car made on the Dyno today!! Wandered through the workshop to view the 2nd run with the operator. The coveration went like this: Him - "Any idea what you lookin for then?" Me - "Dunno, it made 271 standard, so 280+ I'd be happy with... I'll be so happy if I go away at 300!!" He Stops walking........ and gives me a puzzled look Him - "Well, its just made 400?!!" Me - "Haha, yea.. I wish mate, that would be awesome.." Him (Laughing Now)- "Seriously, its just made about 400 on the first run" Me - *Laughed.... Couldnt say anything.... Only able to laugh* End result was: 400.2bhp and 317ft/lb To say I am happy would be a HUGE understatement!!!! Cheers, Grant

  10. From what I've read on various Forums, they are incredibly light wheels but are still very strong. The Honda boys absolutely love them....... If they can sort me out a decent deal on a wheel that will clear my brakes, I'll be considering them when I go for some 18's on the GT4 because you get awesome prices on Rotas from RareRims. If you could ask what the chance of gettin an ST205 GT4 WRC mapped on either an Apexi Power FC & Commander & 3 Bar map sensor, or a Motec M4 PRO with Anti-Lag/Launch Control/Flat Shift & 3 Bar map sensor both to run around 1.8/1.9bar boost. The car is still on stock ECU at the moment, however if I got for PowerFC I'll need something done reasonably soon, though still not for about a month.. but if I wait for Motec then it'll be around October time probably so I can make sure I've bought everything I need to run the extra features available to me.   23. Was a good day I thought, first chance to get the GT4 on track..... Managed to beat Ruth's Black GT4 twice and then due to a couple of fumbled gearchanges I lost out narrowly to the red 300ZX Twin Turbo. Still, had quite a few peeps come up to me after it'd finished telling me that the car sounded sweet.... that must be the Screamer Pipe!! I was in the Drag Event in the White GT4, EJZ 7*** Cheers, Grant
