Aye, will be interesting to see what it makes on the rollers... Was it an EcuTek re-map you got, did you fit any other mods at the same time?? Dastek is in Dalgety Bay, very very easy to find, about 5 mins drive from Junction 2 of the M90. Cheers, Grant

<< Not be taking advantage of the straight lanes of the Kingsway this time.... >> Probably best, I dont have a Silver Scoob to take the heat from 5/0 instead of you this time. PC Plod - "We've had reports of a Silver Subaru racing along the Kingsway.." Moi - "Oh, ok Officer......... which one was it?!" PC Plod - "Errrr" *Pause as he starts to notice the huge line of Subaru's coming into the Retail Park....* PC Plod - "Just be careful son and let all the others know that we're out and about tonight" Moi - "No bother Officer, good evening" Cheers, Grant

Been quite a few posts recently about Re-Furbing alloys in various areas mate..... Have a wee trawl through the forums and I'm sure you'll come up with a few names!! Cheers, Grant

I'm not too sure mate... I never made it for various reasons, however, I think that may have been the problem as there were only 2 or 3 peeps that actually turned up to the meet from what I read on here at the time. Cheers, Grant

IIRC the guys @ Dastek do check the mixture when they are running the cars... I'm sure Gerry told me that mine was running fine too. Hope its nothing serious, I would maybe try banging in a bit more OB and seeing if that helps, but then, I'm mechanically/technically dumb so its probably best not to listen to me!! Cheers, Grant

Never had experience with the Nero's but I have a set of P-Zero's fitted to my MY99 and they were average at best..... fitted a pair of front F1's and drove that night before going down the next day to get the rears replaced for F1's. It was raining, and the back end was snapping out badly at around 20mph with lifting off and a slight flick of the wheel. Cheers, Grant

Another supporter for Goodyear Eagle F1's here.... In the dry, IMO they are as grippy as the others you've mentioned easily, but in the wet, they seem to get better!! Cheers, Grant

Was talking to Peetaaaay at F&M on Sunday, and we were talking about getting a meet sorted out ASAP to take advantage of the light nights and to refresh interest etc. I'll definitely be along at this one (work permitting) cause I've got a car that will keep up, should any banter occur later on in the night!! Cheers, Grant

I think thats going to be a pretty busy spot on Sunday morning... as I'm pretty sure the GT4OC are meeting down there too before heading along to the Showground. Cheers, Grant

Had a Forge on the MY99 I used to own... Not the loudest, but still brought a grin to the face specially when the car popped and banged all over the shop with it on!! Cheers, Grant

Haha, true... with links like "F@ck Sexy Singles" on the site, I'm sure you arent the only one using it as a Homepage. Cheers, Grant

IIRC a Classic running 18's shouldnt go bigger than 215's to prevent scrubbing, and depending how low the car is, even 215's may still catch on the occasional bump when fully laden. Cheers, Grant

Aye thats REALLY annoying.... Surely there is some limit to this?! But whats to say, rip it down at 100+, stop for something to eat, blether etc.. then get back on the road after enough time has passed to bring your average speed down to national limits?! A simple calculation will allow you to work out how long you must have a break for........ Or am I wrong!? Cheers, Grant
-
Soz to hear its a Total Loss...... But remember to reject their first settlement offer, they can always do better!! Cheers, Grant
-
Quite a good wee list already!! WRX Girly, I dont have a problem with your boyfriend bringing his car along...... I wont be in an Impreza this time either. What does he drive, and whats he hoping to make on the Rollers?? Cheers, Grant
