  1. I'm going so I can prove how cool and 'street' I still am..... Cheers, Grant
  2. I'm going to see Eminem in a few weeks...... Is that relevant, probably not!? Cheers, Grant
  3. You'll have a reply shortly mate... Cheers, Grant
  4. Thats true... Fife doesnt have a R/O. It just needs a couple of peeps to take charge of this and organise things on behalf of the club. As has been mentioned, the R/O have their own lives and its not fair to expect them to work continually to organise stands etc for every single event that comes up. Cheers, Grant
  5. Weeb, PM me what sort of money you are after for them mate... Cheers, Grant
  6. It appears that I beat the AWD Scoob's best time.... Other bit of news is that a friend with a GT4 qualified for the Top 10 AWD Group but has since had engine trouble so I've e-mailed Willie to find out if I can take his spot with my 12.6.. Cheers, Grant

  8. Yes mate, the car used to run Nitrous.. and I *think* that Kenny's best time up the 1/4 mile was a 12.7 when he was running it?! Yea I could imagine that he'd have some traction problems in that Corsa, although, I was kind of hoping that I'd be ok with 4WD!! Cheers, Grant
  9. Yea, I'm friends with a few people that know him... Remember seeing him up at Crail a few times in that RB when I was running my old MY99, your car used to have the plate T*KE U, does it still have the big red switch near the handbrake?? I'm sorry I missed you guys, will try and make it along a wee bit sooner the next time!! I managed a 12.6 in the GT4, which I was pretty happy with, couldnt stop the wheels from spinning all the way through 1st gear..... Gonna have to sort that out if I'm going to improve at USSC on the 21st!! Cheers, Grant
  10. I'm a fan of the RB5's mate... Looks lots like a car I used to see every now and again, dont suppose it belonged to a guy named Kenny thats now got a Supra?? Probably not, lol, RB5's tend to look similar unless modified. Really clean lookin car anyway, and I the wee pootch would just have to look at a spotty car thief and the guy'd run a mile!! Cheers, Grant
  11. I'd come on the stand if I was allowed.... Cheers, Grant (Ex-Scooby Owner )
  12. lol, ok.... Its at Crail Airfield. Cheers, Grant
  13. Forgot the date.... Sunday 21st August Cheers, Grant
  14. This is where all the big power cars come together to find out who has the fastest FWD/RWD/4WD Car in Scotland. There is also "Drift God of 2005" at the same weekend, so that should be good fun to watch too!! Whether or not I'm too late to qualify for the Finals with my time from this weekend, I'll go along to see Andy F rip arse up the 1/4 in his Type-R Scoob!! 8) Who else is up for it?? Cheers, Grant
  15. Nope cant wait for the next one now, I'm not sure if I've qualified for the Ultimate Street Car on the 21st August..... I'm going to e-mail Willie at Crail to see what chance there is to be included in the list, as hopefully I'll have my anti-lift kit fitted which should help reduce the amount of wheels spin I got. Cheers, Grant
  16. lol, wonder when its coming to the UK?? Cheers, Grant
  17. Frank its going like a train mate.... I think the only 2 peeps to go faster than me yesterday were Andy F and the AWD Catalunya. There may have been faster cars there in the morning, I didnt manage to get through before 2pm. Things were pretty close with Grant in the AWD Scoob the couple of times we raced, I want a re-match!!! Cheers, Grant
  18. Haha, Mr Coulty, whats your best time in your "Almost Standard" STi V2 then mate?? Give me a target to aim at..... Peter, I'll say Hi next time mate..... Cause I'm sure you'll be back, sounds like the 1/4 mile bug's bitten a few of you peeps!! I know its a long shot, as I turned up so late, but did anyone get any pics/vids of my car?? Cheers, Grant
  19. I was arriving and signing on when someone in a Blue Scottish Scoobies top was getting their results... Had a good day, once I turned the boost controller off. On the road, it was fine held boost with no spikes etc....... First launch, and it hit the boost limit which feels like a brick wall then tailed off to 0.7bar for rest of the run. Totally confused, but there were no places that I could go and practice a few launches so I decided to take it off and run with what the car could give me standard. So, with a general range of about 0.65-0.72bar I did the rest of my runs today. Best Time was a 12.6 @ 108mph which I am pretty pleased with given that I was running low boost to avoid any further probs with Boost Cut. Only car that beat me was the AWD Catalunya.. He seemed to get his power down better than me, I was spinning all 4 wheels coming off the line longer than most 4WD peeps according to friends that were watching me. Andy F............ Fook me mate, thats some car you've got!! Cheers, Grant
  20. Sorry guys, came home from Crail and really wasnt very well... think I ate something dodgy. Pretty gutted that I couldnt make this meet, sorry to let you all down. Cheers, Grant
  21. "The Green Bus".... how very PC of you Scott!! Aye, its a good car.. I'll show you round it at the meet, passenger rides are £5 for 5 mins on the Kingsway, or £10 for 15mins.. See you tomorrow mate. Cheers, Grant
  22. I'm not sure to be honest, I think tomorrow could either be very good or very poor. Its a normal Crail Day, which isnt normally the best for spectating....... BUT I think Andy F will be there in his 10 second Type-R, and I'm guessing a few other peeps that maybe want to try and qualify for Redline's Ultimate Scottish Street Car on the 21st August might be there as this is the final opportunity to put in a good time. What do you drive mate, cause if you see everyone racing and you feel you have a chance against a couple of them, then trust me you are gonna wander over to the Cabin, Pay 15quid and race your car up the track too............ its a great buzz mate, I'd recommend it to anyone!! Cheers, Grant
  23. Saw an M3 DTM Replica Show Car that had this paint on it... Very bling!! IIRC Audi did this with the very first Audi A8 that was released, they thought it would show people what "Aluminium" looked like.. Jaguar did it recently with the new XJ too, think it was even in Top Gear studio. Cheers, Grant
  24. << Thats sum result m8, bet ur happy. I was up at knockhill when u smoked Ruth. My friends have gt4's, 185's and 205's, the yellow one, the red one with carbon bonnet, 555bhp silver beast and orange beast, and the white carlos sainz with lamp pod, Paul gave u the bleed valve b4 you did king of the hill >> Thanks mate, I'm very chuffed with how the '4 is holding up, its a different/more relaxed experience driving it compared to my Scoobs, even with 400bhp. Thats correct about the Relief Valve mate, if you could thank Paul again next time you see him from me that'd be great!! << RSGRANT.....TOTB5 contender! >> Steady Dave, I know you're excited... but calm down a bit son!! lol << I agree on the RX8 grant. It's not a looker, especially in Yellow. Dirty yellow too. >> There is one in Dundee that is deep red metallic with light tints and 18/19" Khan alloys on it and it looks very nice... But yellow wouldnt be my colour of choice and to leave it dirty Thats just not on!! I would think that a Unichip on the higher power RX-8 could boost power to about 270bhp possibly?? Cheers, Grant
  25. I'm going... Cheers, Grant
