  1. Sounds good, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. [H] Also good to meet you again, next time might be on track.......... [] Cheers, Grant
  2. Yea, it goes well apart from the Rollercoaster Boost/Power Curve... your car must be one of the Monday AM cars, it certainly makes good power for the standard-ish spec and it shows out on track!! [] My fronts are grinding like, err, something that grinds a lot... completely gubbed... Dont think I've ever continued smiling after discovering that I've destroyed a part of my car before?! [H] Cheers, Grant
  3. Great videos... Cal/Grant, do we have an ETA for the next chapter in the Squirrelvision series?? (With input from CalCam obviously) [] Cheers, Grant
  4. Really sorry to hear about your problem Iain, when we drove past the Traffic Police were already there... We'd been waiting at the BP garage for you too!! Dont worry about driving the car again, when you get it back, just take it slowly and step it up gently until you feel confident again. [] Also hope that the Grey Elise driver is alright too, hate seeing that on the road. However, as far as the day went, I had a brilliant time...... my car impressed me out there, seemed to hold its own against the rest of the field!! Destroyed my brakes out there, have to get myself some uprated stuff for the next time. I was in the Grey Celica GT4, any pics/vids would be welcomed. [H] Cheers, Grant
  5. Awesome mate, lots of pics of my car... [H] Cheers, Grant
  6. Maybe they have better things to do than argue about internet stuff... Crazy, I know!! lol... [] Cheers, Grant
  7. Anyone want a big pillow to stay comfy while these guys stir the same old pot... [|-)] Cheers, Grant
  8. I admire your perseverance Phillip... But I think this forum's been over fished recently, I'd be surprised if you got another bite in this topic. [] Cheers, Grant
  9. Unless you are running uprated calipers, yours are two pots mate.. Reddish Blue was only available 97-98, latest being an S-Plate with two-potters. Cheers, Grant
  10. VERY grey and overcast here in North Fife... But even if it is raining elsewhere, it could be sunny up at Knockhill, it usually has its own weather system up there!! Cheers, Grant
  11. The only EP3's that got more BHP and a LSD were the JDM models that were built in Britain, shipped to Jaaaaaypan and then brought back to Britain. [] If its a stock UK Civic Type-R then IIRC it'll have 197bhp and defo wont come with a LSD. Cheers, Grant
  12. IIRC, the V4 does come with the 2-pots on the rears too. [H] Cheers, Grant
  13. I'm going and will be taking myself onto track as well... haha... which should be good for a laugh, cause I just got the "Warm Up Session" sheet through and it looks like I'll be little more than easy prey for some of the cars out there!! [] Cheers, Grant
  14. Forge, HKS & Blitz are the only ones that I would buy... IMO, when buying mods, buy the best there is... otherwise you'll more than likely have to buy twice when it fails to do the job properly or gives up completely. Vent to atmosphere arent actually needed until being used in Big Boost, Big Turbo applications.. Cheers, Grant
  15. Aye, that was the run I was on about Dunc... Great banter with the TRS lads, I'll be up for the next one too. [H] Cheers, Grant
  16. Went on a Type-R Scotland run a while ago in my old Wagon... Ended up going hell for leather around some amazing roads with about 5 or 6 EP3's in front of me, I wouldnt say that I'm an awesome driver, but I am fairly confident behind the wheel.. specially of a scoob.. it was a dry/clear day and I was having to push my car fairly hard to keep up, they are built to take corners, NOT to take part in straight line drags/races. IMO. Cheers, Grant
  17. Ok, well I'll be at the BP Garage as you leave Dundee (A90) for 7.30... then when I hear the rumble, I'll pull out and tag onto the end. [H] Cheers, Grant
  18. What sort of time will you guys be passing through Dundee?? [] Cheers, Grant
  19. "electric socks............." FPMSL at that mate.. and I dont really know why. LOL [] Welcome to ScottishScoobies COLZO, have seen you post over on Scoobynet before.. [] Cheers, Grant
  20. When it comes to tyres, I'd say that you should always buy the best that you can... Ok, if you only have 60quid to spend per corner, thats different... but if you can afford it, then buy the best. IMO, the best is Eagle F1 XL (Extra Load) tyres.. Never cease to amaze me with their grip in poor conditions. Cheers, Grant
  21. You're right Col, just outside Tayport... [H] He had/has loads of cars, M Coupe, Ferrari 355 and lots more including a 1 of 3 special order Purple Lambo Diablos too, JayKay had another one. Saw that outside the Casino in Dundee a fair bit. Cheers, Grant
  22. My mate got a 1.6 60ft in his Celica GT4 that was pretty much stock, apart from a sniff more boost..... to get a 1.1 60ft would be absolutely mental, absolutely kevamental!!! Sorry, I'll get m'coat, the taxi's waiting. [] Cheers, Grant
  23. Saw the car yesterday at the Type-R Scotland R/R Day.... Impressive spec list and looks like it means business!! [H] Cheers, Grant
  24. Sorry to hear this mate.. like peeps have said though, the STi will make everything all better. [] Cheers, Grant
