IIRC the Standard BHP on a MY96 UK Turbo is 204bhp. My list of first 3 mods (after making sure that its serviced, etc) would be: 1. Decent Backbox & Centre De-Cat 2. Boost Gauge 3. Session on R/R to make sure car is running well. (A/F, Boost, Power, etc) Cheers, Grant

Ok, now I know that obviously the stock STi wheels will fit over the Brembos.. but I'm wanting something different. Not TSW/League/Max Poo different, I'm looking for something as light & strong as possible.. without breaking the bank!!I've bought some 17" Speedline GT1 alloys, had them refurb'd and I was told recently that the clearance might not actually be enough to clear the laaaaarge Brembo calipers. What other 17" wheels will fit over the Brembo Brakes without the need for spacers?? I'm very reluctant to move onto 18" alloys.. but will if I absolutely need to. Car is a MY99 UK Turbo 4dr. I bought the wheels 2nd hand, didnt realise they needed "special" bolts for them.. was never informed of that as I assume its pretty expensive to get some sent out.. now I've had them refurb'd in the colour I'm after I will be VERY pi$$ed off if I cant bl00dy use them on my car!! Yea, got the discs & pads as well as the calipers... need to know these will be fine before I can confirm that I'll take them. I'm taking a gamble that they'll fit under the 17" Speedlines, if they dont fit, I'll be out of the run!! [] I had 2-pots on my old MY98 wagon, they are VERY bad.. absolute hope&pray jobbies!! Yep sure do, dont find them all that inspiring to be fair... as the discs and pads are coming to the end of their life, I am looking at about the same amount for new discs and pads for original set-up as I am for a low-mileage Brembo set-up. Cheers, Grant

Ok, need brakes before the run on 17th and I've got the chance at some STi Brembo's from a MY03 STi Spec-C for my classic, UK MY99 Turbo running on 17" Speedline GT1 wheels. Are they a straight bolt-on job.. or are special brackets/clips etc needed?! Cheers, Grant
