Haha, well... running similar (or slightly lower) boost to me, you still knocked in a very low 12 at Crail without any hassle... so I am still prepared to see you disappearing into the distance mate!! Weather is starting to look up too, so hopefully by the beginning of may it'll be spot on for a drive in the countryside. Cheers, Grant

Unfortunately I'll only catch a glimpse of how well this does on the Highland Run as I wont have a hope in hell of being anywhere near it!! Cheers, Grant
-
Yea, could have been... think it was a Ph2 VTS that was 'charged in dark red metallic, saw it up at Crail a few years ago, looked seriously quick. IIRC it ran a high 13-second pass. Cheers, Grant
-
Your saxo isnt dark red is it?? Random question I know.... Welcome to the club. Cheers, Grant
-
That looks great, brilliant price too. Cheers, Grant

I was stung for 63 quid to brim the Spec-G at the weekend there... think V-Power is up at 1.16p/ltr at the local Shell Station. I dont tend to look at the price per litre any longer cause its just pisses me off. Cheers, Grant

Never saw it on the strip Col, but saw it parked up on the grass... still looks great, although preferred the OZ wheels rather than the STi alloys that are on it now. Cheers, Grant
-
Thats a time sheet I'd be very proud of mate... not bad at all, should be a wee bit more time in it if you actually took some of the weight out of the car and properly prep'd it for the strip!! Cheers, Grant

I'll let the pilot of Crazy Horse reveal his time himself... amazing achievment, car was going like a rocket today mate, extremely impressive and sounded wicked!! Karps, I'll be honest, I never really noticed the graphics on the car or what was on the banner........... but are those lassies single?? Was a good day, great weather resulting in my first "Crail Face" of the year.. Cheers, Grant
-
Haha, this is true... but in all honesty, how subtle can full body graphics be?! Cheers, Grant
-
..........might give you an idea of a new design for you Welsho, as you seemed to be a big fan in your first post. Cheers, Grant
-
Good day, good pics... missed the drifting though, booo. Cheers, Grant

So you'd rather AWD employed another couple of people and paid their wages for a year because there are a couple of people that are expecting to have a 1 on 1 service within 5 mins of arriving?! Errr, I think thats being a tiny bit unreasonable. I'll be honest, I've never met/spoken to you Addison and have no idea what you look like. I also will freely admit that I made no attempt to say hello to everyone there to find you....... if that offends you then I apologise. If I had known you were coming along to the Open Day I'd have let you know who to look for and to come over and say hello. I know its a bit daunting to march up to a group of 'regulars' that seem to be in a closed group, but the great thing that I've found about this club is that you can turn up and wander over to a group of people to say hello and 99 times out of 100 you'll wonder why you were so nervous as you get accepted straight away and join in the banter. Cheers, Grant

That sounds really familiar... hmmm, will give it some Full Lock love if I get it back on the strip, might make a bit of a difference. Cheers, Grant
-
Fully forward? So you're meant to lock it when launching hard, say, on a 1/4 mile drag.. I've always had mine fully backward and 'open' when I've done 1/4 mile. Cheers, Grant

What about encorporating the jap rising sun graphic into the picture by replacing the orangey sun.. this is a very basic MS Paint effort at what I'm getting at. Cheers, Grant
-
Congrats mate.. thats a big baby. I dont envy the sleepless nights and dirty nappies though!! Cheers, Grant
-
Wow, that looks awesome... really REALLY like that!! Cheers, Grant
-
Could always talk to the guys at Checkpoint in Arbroath... they'd be able to advise/carry out any work needed too. Cheers, Grant
-
I'll be there for definite.. but not sure what I'll be in yet. Cheers, Grant
-
Mac, I'm doing well thanks bud.. hope things are good with you?? How do you find the 2.5 after the Spec-C?? More importantly, which one do you prefer!! Cheers, Grant
-
Yea, have thought about it and have got another car that I run around in... but never known where to go for a Traders Policy and I'm assuming that it'll be a pricey affair to sort out too as it gives you a green light to drive anything (within reason I think). I called Admiral earlier on and I'm looking at................... £71 to pay to swap onto a Type-R until my renewal date. Happy days, think I'll stick that back on the list now. Cheers, Grant
-
Ar$ehole... I really dont agree with speeding in built up/30-limit areas. Cheers, Grant

Haha, you're not bitter about that Tracker thing are you mate... you could never tell from your reply anyway. Welsho, yea... you could be right... however, we'll see what happens as there is meant to be a guy coming from the South Coast of England this weekend to look at the Spec-G so I'd be surprised if he isnt impressed and it doesnt go. Steve, thats awesome, I've never had a quote under £2k for a 2dr Impreza and it doesnt seem like the Insurance Gods are going to smile on me now either.. lol, I'll give Admiral a buzz and see what difference is over the Spec-G until renewal time in January 09, och, it'll maybe give me another wee chuckle if nothing else. Cheers, Grant
-
...hell do they work it out?! Here is my recent rundown of insurance costs that I've had to swallow: Standard MY99 UK Turbo 5dr that I traded in for my 2007 STi Spec-D cost me just over £1000 to insure a year ago, the Spec-D cost me £540-ish to insure this year and I've just had a quote for an STi Type-R Version 5 at......... £2400. Looks like I can cross that off my list of possible replacements. Haha.. to be fair, it was just a quick quote I did on confused.com so I havent given Admiral a chance to tell me what the difference it'd be over the Spec-G but going by that, its looking doubtful that I'll be sitting in a 2dr Impreza drivers seat anytime soon. Just mental. Cheers, Grant
