  2. Sorry to hear about the car. My sidelight popped out when someone hit me. Having looked at the damage to my car I realised ithe light was sitting in the road in one piece. Waited for the traffic to clear but the last ****** drove over it!!! Hope you get sorted soon
  3. Merc estate, grey one.
  4. Big Jay this morning, very kindly let us out (not in scoob) just after Rochester bridge for the broken down rubbish truck . Black classic just passed me on A2 by Strood turning
  5. SO he's going to teach us "eco-friendly driving techniques", what with that and the "don't buy food you are not going to eat because you'll have to throw it away and that will cost you money" earlier in the week. Shows the high regard that he holds the british public in. Utter ****!
  6. Had a skyline owner telling me how terrible they are (scoobies not skylines!) so I showed a bit of interest in his car. Unfortunately off the road as it needs a new engine, tyres, suspension and brakes. It is however going to be fitted with a 650bhp engine........ at some point no doubt!! I commented that that would be interesting going through the back wheels as it's a GTT. He then asked if mine was 2wd.......... mmmmmmmmm knows a lot then!
  7. Afaik the bugeye were version 7, blobeye went on to version 8, classics were 1-6 Little plastic flap is for blocking out the sun above the mirror
  8. Scuzz/Herman, sorry didn't see who was driving, didn't see you til the last minute, and a blue blobeye heading down temple hill this afternoon.
  9. Yep Dean again from me. Also found RM Tyres to be pretty good, they're in Strood next to the medway tunnel. 01634 716336 I think. And a thumbs up for the toyos as well
  10. £340!!!!!!!!!! that's daylight robbery! Where was that?
  11. Sorry to hear that mate, especially when you've got pictures in it as well. My cousin had his phone nicked a couple of months ago and that was full of pics of his little boy. Was in the middle of moving house so hadn't got round to downloading them. It's always worth handing anything in tho'. When i was at uni up in Manchester one of my house mates found a wallet and handed it in. Later that night there was a knock on the door and it was the bloke whose wallet it was, and we all got a few drinks out of it
  12. Sorry meant to say above, have found the G27 stuff pretty good. It's in a tube, think turtlewax/TCut do something similar and is quite aggressive. If the scratch isn't too deep then this will help clean out any rubbish and make it look a lot better. Will also smooth off any rough edges to the scratch and make it less noticeable, just rub along the scratch with it, and you don't need much at all.
  13. Sorry to hear that. Just been reading about a 2 week old audi that some little f*****s have poured paint stripper all over. Don't know what's wrong with people. I know it's painful but do you have any pics? How deep is the scratch?
  14. Was it definitely flat batteries or the dreaded interference that some of the alarms suffer from in places? Happened a couple of times with mine, new batteries sorted it but it was actually the signal being blocked by something in the area! Went through the same thought process as you, have I been leaning on the button and not realised etc. Embarrassing situation but you're not the only one! (OK mine wasn't parked in a bus stop so not quite as bad!)
  15. Got a wave of you . Red spec C turning into culdesac in Strood, you were coming towards me.
  16. Great news mate, tho I'm assuming they let him get out the car before they crushed it...
  17. Great result and car's looking good. Saw you out in it last week, can't remember what day
  18. Rally car went past me yesterday, looking nice and sounding purposeful!
  19. Undo the screw in the handle part. Pull the whole assembly towrds you and then gently lift it out. Then you should have access to the switch, might not even be connected?
  20. Blue classic wagon with KS sticker leaving quarry wood industrial estate this afternoon, and a black blobeye waiting at the lights there too. Also stickered up blobeye heading down the wainscott bypass
  21. Quite toasty!

  23. I reckon a lot of the labour would be going towards putting the wiring through the bulk head up behind the dashboard and getting it all wired in and looking nice. If you can do that bit yourself you're already saving some money. I was charged £45 for fitting the sensors alone, but to have the whole lot fitted (boost, oil temp, oil pressure and then the pod etc) would have been £135+vat iirc. Sounds like you're at about the same stage as me, mine are going in tomorrow (new car so having them put in again)
