  2. I quite like the GRA's or SDR's here. www.rarerims.co.uk
  3. I had a classic with PPP, then decatted the centre section and sounded a bit better imho. Not necessarily louder but a bit more burbly. A must do imho, it was the first thing I did to my newage, and it certainly wont upset your neighbours. The kind of mod that if you've had the "no more mods or" threat from your other half they may not notice, but if they do it's easy to pass it off as something else lol[]
  4. I like those audi's, but seriously, driving like that should be kept to the race track. I feel sorry for the normal road users going about their daily business
  5. Just done mine, so should[st] any minute lol!!
  6. Turismo this morning A2, 7'ish
  7. Loonybin might have? Think his is a cobra system?
  8. Very difficult to tell in the pics, probably much easier to tell when it's sat in front of you. I touch goats as well. Diffbuster: Have you tried a clay bar? Stick it in a pot of warm water before you use it to soften it, do a panel or two, then put it back in the water to soften it again. Softening it also makes it a bit more sticky. Other than that follow he manufacturers instructions[Y].
  9. My mate works for mazda, so had an rx8 as a company car for a bit. Apparently they have to have special oil which comes in quite pricey(rotary engine).....he mentioned £128 iirc just for the oil!!!! He does tend to exaggerate tho, everything has to be fastermore expensivebetter built you name it than a scooby......exept the alloys, apparently they tend to corrode, dealers aware and will replace under warranty. All word of mouth so don't know how true[] Oops, sorry the wheels are on the rx8's
  10. just had my up and downpipe fitted at xtremescoobies and before they started they asked if I'd got my uppipe off ebay. I hadn't it's an H+S item, but apparently they've experienced some problems with the fit of some of the pipes bought off ebay. Just in case you were thinking of looking there[]
  11. Nice one mate, good luck with it
  12. Is it the same as the "standard" lead that comes in the newage scoobs? Mines still in the car but had to get it going again to get the cartridge out of my changer. Not too much work.
  13. No need, just found this. http://www.rb5oc.co.uk/images/step3_g.jpg
  14. Yep, you should have a bung on your manifold somewhere. There are two pipes and a bung on top of the engine. Sorry haven't got any pics!! Could you post up a pic of the whole engine? You shouldn't have to cut into anything on yours
  15. LOL @ Baser [] Just gonna give it a try and see what it's like. It's good stuff mate. Just make sure you've got a few microfibres to get it off with. Don't rush on with the wax, get the car looking[H] first with the cleaner fluid.
  16. Well resisted mate, he must have been well wound up lol[]. Sometimes I pull over and let them pass, ie stop at the side of the road if I'm not on the motorway. Remarkably good feeling.
  17. Bad news mate. Echo Nudge's comments above. Keep the car out the way and stay safe. If they're that easily annoyed, hopefully someone else will annoy them soon and they'll move on.
  18. Here you go http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/714198.aspx
  19. Did Audiofusion have one? Have got a forge vta on mine and so far no probs.
  20. Scary stuff mate, but if your friends are tipped off can't you find out who these people are? Hope you don't have too much more trouble
  21. Just seen this, any good lol[] http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/931552.aspx
  22. Water is a good one. Used to have a cat come into the back garden and attack our cat. Kept a water pistol by the back door, it soon got the message. Best to shoot through the window as they often hear a door opening. Our own cat has also become much better behaved now aswell...... As an aside I was waiting in the car outside and the cat jumped onto the bonnet, expecting to be let in I just stared it out until it got off. THEN I remembered the windscreen washers[:'(]. Gutted. The stupid animal then jumped onto the boot, giving me a second chance. Wasn't remotely bothered by the rear wash wipe, didn't expect the electric arial tho! he he he. Animal wasn't harmed, just got off, sharpish[]
  23. White classic followed me through cobham to meopham about 11.30ish this morning. From the plate I'd guess it was a wrx???[]
  24. That's what I'm hoping....
