  2. Thank you Hugh. Was a bit surprised to say the least!! I've managed to scan as pdf, anyone know how I post it up?
  3. Scanning = technology = Will check with the IT department tomorrow. There's a bloke with an old Astra up there that always tries to race away and tends to drive like a loon! I'm sure he can help me out, might leave them lying about, just incase he thinks I actually try and keep up
  4. Same here. A good day, might even have managed to get a little sunburnt lol!!!! Top bunch of guys up a t TDI, doughnuts were a nice touch , and hopefully plenty of money made for Great Ormand Street

  7. Don't think it was me mate, but the car could do with a bit of a clean lol!!
  8. And spotted back
  9. A long handled paint brush, might be a radiator brush, can reach most places in the engine bay if you haven't tried it. Think they're about £3?
  10. Nothing exciting! Got there a bit late, and unannounced, so they very kindly put the car up on the ramps and after taking the undertray off managed to find the rattle that has been driving me mad for about a year lol!! Don't know if you remember but I bought it out to you to stick the det cans on just in case. Red spec c. Unfortunately its the heat shield on the headers, so I'm guessing the most difficult one to get to or even get. I believe it's equal length on that one so a bit different to some but hopefully the same as the later cars and easily sourceable. At the minute I'm just glad I know what it is I remember you had a look round the heatshields too but you have to get right underneath for it, apparently not one of the usual suspects! Also found a small power steering fluid leak from a joint so need a new connector on the hose for that. Car was driving beautifully coming back but had a bit of a hare and tortoise moment. Having overtaken a couple of cars a few miles down the road I pulled in for fuel, and half way through I watched a long convoy of cars going past me...... slowly lol!
  11. Personally if the owner has admitted problems as serious as that, and is then coming back with further better offers I'd be running. Actually if it had problems like that alone I'd be off. Take your time and find a good one. As said if you get a bad one you could end up repairing it again and again, not only costing you more in the long run but ruining the experience of owning a scooby.
  12. Thanks for the replies. Wasn't after a remap, just wondered if he had a shop with some goodies in. I ended up popping down to powerstation for a look. Nice drive down and back, nice roads, great scenery, bit of sun and not too many on the road
  13. Had a look on the BRDevelopments website but can't see any address. Whereabouts is he based? For those that have been to see him what are the premises like? Is it an industrial unit, or shop etc. I've got a weekend away in Oxford/Cotswolds and had a feeling he may not be that far from there? Might pop in if that's a possibility, feeling bored lol!
  14. Ha, spotted back!!!! Please tell me you didn't have those wheels on last time, I'm sure, or at least hope I would have noticed them!! (I'm preparing an argument involving lighter mornings as my defence lol!)
  15. Thanks for that Wasn't sure if you were letting me out or just acknowledging the car at first, also didn't realise it was you until going up the hill, splitter looked a lot larger than normal. Had only just left work, tyres really don't like being cold lol!
  16. Could well have been me, YC53 7:00, must have been on time to work that day!!!
  17. Yep, saw one stuck the top of temple hill with a copper trying to get it going, and one which looked like it had very recent rear end damage. One of the girls at work left her M3 at home and came in in the works van
  18. Could you not take them off and spray them a different colour or something? Assuming they come off?
  19. Got some Samco bits from rallydesign.co.uk or raldes.co.uk, same place just can't remember the web address, they're in Faversham Kent, mail order tho. Found it lol!!! http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/index.php?man...p;filter_id=166 Was the cheapest I could find a year or so ago
  20. Compared to STI, Spec C is lighter (upto 120kg I think), thinner glass and roof, lightweight boot lid, no soundproofing. Uprated fuel and oil pumps, twin scroll (before the STI's got them!), 12 litre intercooler spray tank in boot, no boot carpet and black seats instead of the normal blue/black and a roof scoop. Might also have things like ported heads and better bearings and stuff. Normally comes without air con and leccy windows. Newage version of the RA. Based on a 2003. STI, blue black alcantara seats, six speed box, brembos, intercooler spray, vvt, turbo specific to model year?, bigger intercooler to wrx, bigger bonnet scoop, DCCD WRX, black/grey seats, 5 speed box, subaru 4 pots, TD04, front fog lights WR1, as STI +, leather (tho' I think I've seen one without?), prodrive alloys, ice blue colour engine tweaks to take power to 320ish bhp? Based on the blobeye cars. feel free to add any or correct any of the above
  21. Just been speaking to another scooby owner at work and it seems that while rolling along slowly in traffic in the Bromley area just before Christmas someone threw a water balloon at the car. No big deal, car wasn't going fast, except, it wasn't water!! When they got home paint was already starting to bubble up. Car is in at Walldonway at the minute, think he said it was new bonnet, wings and bumper. Police reckon other cars have been done as well, but they were parked up not moving at the time. Hopefully it will be back to pre vandalism condition very soon!
  22. Thank you for the replies, will pass his number on
  23. Forutnately not for me, well I might get a couple done at the same time, but a piece of guttering fell of my neighbours house and hit their car leaving a nice litle dent. Anyone know of anybody that's good? Ideally mobile
  24. Yep, if you start in the corner by the cup holder, I actually took it out, only two screws then it needs to be eased over the surround, but it will come out. Then slowly and gently work round the plastic surround levering it out, two small screwdrivers should help. Then its just held on the dashbord using a double din bracket held in with upto 6 screws in it (depending on how many times it's been out and if any have been dropped lol!)
  25. 1. Baser999 and Tania 2. Scoobytibs 3. Scooby Hoo? and Jazz Jill 4. Granby 5. eureka 6. Padtwo
