same vote for andy from myself FINALLY got my car mapped from andy on tuesday this in was also an issue due to the fact that i was sent offshore over the weekend [] but somehow i was able to find a good mate who was able to take my car down to AWD and get the car seen too think it may have something to do with the drive back up the road that convinced him [] must admit, i was at my wits end on tuesday avo, me mates mobile battery ran out half an hour after he left abz and i had no way of getting intouch apart from calling AWD and i did'nt want to pi$$ off the lads there by calling up every 5 mins to find out how it was going but after a couple of hours enough was enough and i had to call, and found out that everything went as it should of [] here's a copy of the e-mail i got from andy Hi steve It was going well, running really smooth now [] I'd estimate around 380bhp and 330/340lbft torque. Most importantly, she pops and bangs like a good un on the overrun !!! lol. regards Andy well chuffed [] also a BIG thank you to ALL the lads at AWD for pulling out all the stops to get the issue sorted on me engine Thank you all again [Y]

i dont like that one little bit but i can see it from the rally point of view, i felt that the impreza was pushed to it's limits and that other cars, like the focus, zara and pug were better in the very tight twisties so subaru HAD to do something to keep up dont get me wrong, i think that the impreza is still a world class performer but other companies have had a few years now to catch up and have had something to set their sights on. but did they have to come up with THAT ???????

i always wanted to be a grease monkey when i was a wee lad and was lucky enough to work in a garage over my summer holls as a kid sadly i never got the chance to get a placement [] i will stick my hands into stuff like changing engine oil/fluids brake pads/discs/fluid/wheels and all that kind of bolt on stuff but when it comes to the internals and timing thats when i get a bit wary i can also be a bit heavy handed at times so when it comes to the more intricate stuff i'll leave it to someone who knows what the hell their doing thats also one reason i work offshore, why do when you can get someone to do for ya [] [] []
