  1. Cool that its coming to the UK [Y] Shame it even further for me to travel [N]
  2. Saw these two (sorry can't remember names) on the TV just at the start of the Nations Cup. Cameras zoomed in on the crowd during the introduction at the start of the program on Eurosport! I though they looked familiar from Rally DE this year []
  3. That's terrible! Why would somebody do that? These constant stories of theft and vandalism of Scoobys is really making me nervous about driving back to the UK for Christmas []
  4. Quality motor Stu All you need now is a fuchs scwanz to hang from the rear view mirror
  5. Race of Champions just about to start on Eurosport! C'mon McRae
  6. I've been meaning to post a review of my new Goodyear Eagle Ultragrips (215/45R17) for a while, but never quite seem to find the time to write a full review! Had them on for 1 1/2 months now and driven in temperatures from -15 to +18 and on dry, wet and snow covered roads (Crazy winter this year!). So far i'm very pleased with them and a big improvement over my previous Michelin Pilot Alpin II (225/45R17) although can't say if thats because of the size difference or the tyres themselves. Having said that, if I was in the UK, I think the Michelins (or the bigger tyre size) would suit UK conditions better! Good to see Winter tyres are starting to become more popular in the UK. Given how wet the UK is in the winter and temperatures are usually below 14 (upper temp of the summer/winter tyre overlap range) they would improve road safety far more than any number of speed cameras! If the government was truely interested in road safety, they would make it obligatory to fit Winter tyres in the UK!
  7. Not sure anyone that crazy should be allowed to drive a motor-vehicle on public roads - let alone a Scooby! [] Pretty impressive though! [Y]
  8. The mechanic hey... did you run off without paying the poor bloke for all his hard work? [] Ahh.. Rally DE was much fun this year... lets hope 2007 is even better and Subaru can get a result for a change [Y]
  9. Wish I was going! Always fancied going over to Gran Canaria when they had it there, but then they went and moved it to France which put me off at first! Will be watching on TV though and maybe next year will do the trip to Paris
  10. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport...one/6208360.stm Wonder if he'll be replaced for Team England races with Andy Priaulx - Lewis Hamilton maybe? [] Still, McRae will be driving with Crazy Dave Coultard for Scotland, so its not all bad news [Y]
  11. Every work day and usually at least once at the weekend. Trip to work is about 12 miles of perfect rolling B-Roads with a great view of the Alps on a clear day [Y]
  12. I think they should just give them to anyone who baught an RB5 [][Y] Really does look great, but the mortgage is my priority at the moment []
  13. Maybe they found the missing bits that fell off his car! []
  14. X30NGO, didn't you only just get the car? If so, it will still be learning you're driving style compared to the previous owner!
  15. Probably the ECU learning. Its normal when you've not been on the motorway for some time, you still burn fuel like you're drining on the B-Roads. After a long motorway trip the ECU adjusts and uses less fuel. You'll probably find your next tank on the B-Roads will last longer too! Most of my driving is B-roads, so when I get on the motorway, the first tank is lucky to last 250km. Couple of tanks later I can be pushing 400km!
  16. Wow, what a mess! The weather is really bizarre this year! Tornado's in the UK, no snow in the Alps... maybe there's something to this global warming thng after all! Nice pics Lee, keep up the good work mate! [Y]
  17. Apparently that model was replaced in Japan after 1994, however it was then sold in America (and presumably Europe) from 1995 on!
  18. Just done a bit of searching and its a Subaru Leone 3 door hatch from between 1981 and 1983! http://www.the-blueprints.com/modules/bpvi...iew.php?nr=9982 http://www.the-blueprints.com/modules/bpvi...iew.php?nr=9983
  19. P2 is very very nice! I soooo want one!
  20. Welcome to the forum mate, you'll love Scooby ownership [Y] You really shouldn't drive after you've been "Fishing"!!! [] You should take a trip over to Amsterdam mate, the "Fishing" is excellent there and legal too []
