Thats totally bang out of order[:@],some people just have no respect for their own or other peoples property. I hope you stood on the f**k-wits bonnet to put your luggage in the boot[] If that was mine then flat tyres would be the least of his problems as he would be more worried about the permanent coachline down the side!! Just glad to hear yer cars not damaged !!

Saw this beauty of a 22B for sale in glasgow
john mac replied to STi_Bandit's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Totally agree with Dan Terzo,i've had scoobs for 9 yrs and this model still makes me lick my lips, its a subaru icon, probably the nearest looking to a real rally car subaru have produced, just look at those arches[],the 22B will always be in the history books up there with the Quattro's,Integrale,6R4 and the Escort Cosworth, pure Rally pedigree and you really have to see a quality example in the flesh to really appreciate it. -
Loose windows on a classic - anyone else?
john mac replied to BlackWagon's topic in Scottish Scoobies
This is pretty common on classics,my last my99 suffered from this. When you take the door card off ,you will see that the bolts holding the regulator are loose, get your self some liquid threadlock and apply to the said bolts before horsing them back up and job should be a good 'un!! -
Nice pics oobster, the two GT 's that passed me were the same colour as that although they were pretty dirty!!Nice to see them being used and not tucked up in a garage as part of some eccentric millionnaires collection! Thinking about getting one just as soon as i sell the house, truck car,arm,leg..............[]

Driving home in the truck at about 4.15pm on the M8 (westbound) at Hermiston gate when two of the above mentioned supercars blowby me.My 480 bhp was no match for them[] I seen them coming up in the mirror and thought" that 911 looks as if its had a roof chop",then i seen the rear and realised what it was. Wow totally awesome ,couldn't believe it to see these two quarter of a million pound cars racing off into the sunset dodging in and out of every day traffic was nuts!! Just wondered if anyone else seen them?

Sorry to here about your problem, its happened to most of us at one time or another, but good news if the paints not damaged, theres a company called Acci-dent and the guy is called William Nicol (07990 542508) and he is based in Bothwell iirc. He is a master at taking out dents. He's done loads of scoobs and was held with good regard in the old days when the die hards amongst us, used to frequent scoobynet.

Once he gets a re-map from Andy-f ,it will really fly[]

Lovely motor buddy, looks a good un'...,nice to see it restored back to health,as for the write off thing ,my missus last two cars have been accident damaged repairables, last one a cat D and the present one a cat C .My wife looks at smashed cars and can now tell me what there needing done!!![]As long as it has been repaired correctly and has good photographic history you wont have a problem selling it....(thats if you think you could ever part with it)[]

I waited the 28 days then asked for the photo, still wasn't sure who was driving[]...,then waited another 28 days to tell them this.NIP came back again,i sent it back unsigned after another 28 days ,the local police came round and threatened me with a section s172 failure to supply details[:'(],so i said it was me that was driving as this is a seperate offence and didn't want that,so i then got the offer of a fixed penalty....I ignored this and waited on my day in court which never came as my case timed out...[]....The first diet has to be read out in court within 6 months of the offence taking place. P.S dont be frightened of going to court because even if you lose they wont increase the points, they will only increase the fine to about £100 and they cant award costs either way in Scotland!! Just remember those point are on for a long time ,let them prove it was you in the car!!

Admit to nothing,MAKE THEM PROVE IT(the scamming gits)[:@],this is what they rely on, decent people putting their hands up and coughing up without question. Its a well known fact that these cameras are inaccurate........get yourself over to www.pepipoo.com (fightback forums) for some top advice. I got off with 81 in a 70 last year thanks to that site ,they tell you how to deal with it step by step!

I feel for your loss,we lost our Rottie called Ben after 11 Yrs in November and it broke our hearts,he went really suddenly with a heart problem and we couldn't let him suffer,we stayed with him to the end and he knew we were there. Its just a sad day when their time comes but your pain will ease mate and you will always remember the good times!!(and the not so good times like when he wolfed my huge Toblerone)[] This is a wee poem i found at the time while surfing Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown... ..............John

The first thing to do is wait the maximum amount of time before replying to them. Then on the 28th day send your correspondence special delivery ,so someone has to sign for it.The first thing is to write and ask them for the photos as you are not sure who was driving .They will probably send these .Always nice to keep as a souvenir of the event Though,The best thing to do is to post your details up on pepipoo and someone will take you through the process step by step (as there is a few routes you can go down). There is some very traffic law knowledgeable guys on there. You just keep opening the original post as you receive fresh correspondence from the scammers. Remember the more people that bog the system down with paperwork, the less people will be scammed. You have rights and can use the law in your favour. These cameras are a joke and have been repeatedly shown to be open to discrepancy. Hold your nerve and fight it all the way ,even if your unlucky enough to eventually get a court date (although it will proably get dropped before that)the worst that can happen is, that they prove you were speeding and increase your fine from £60 to about £100. They wont increase the points and costs cannot be awarded either way in Scotland. At the end of the day your only exercising your right to a fair hearing!

These cameras make my blood boil, I got done with one just out side Glenrothes (A 92),81 in a 70 . The good news is that i got off with it thanks to some excellent advice from www.pepipoo.com . These cameras they are using are totally inaccurate and all ther doing is calling your bluff and getting people to pay up. I even got a visit from the local plod threatening me with a section 172 (failure to supply details) but held my nerve as i wanted my day in court . In the end the case timed out and it never happened, saving me 3 points and £60. So don't send anything back before getting advice from that site,it could save ye some points!

Thats the danger of track days, too many people who dont know their own limits or their vehicles limits,(Aqua -planing in the wet, now there's a suprise eh!)as for the subaru, well 99% of insurance companies will write that car off . Ive actually bought accident damaged cars with less damage than that.He could always tell his insurers it happened on a quiet road with no one else involved, not the honest thing to do ,but its that or cough up serious doh to fix. P.s Top Tip do not do track days with people who have track day cars,as you find people who need their cars for work the next day drive a whole lot safer than people with toys who dont! When they come on-you go off.
