  5. How long will the stuff last when stored in the bottle? Is it worth having a couple of bottles full to make a refilling run worthwhile, or is storing full bottles a bad idea? Daz

  7. Good Morning Anyone know of a place in tayside area which would do NOS refills ? Cheers Daz
  8. Good Idea, but it will not just be one set of cameras each end, there will be several sets meaning you could get done in a short stretch rather than over the 26 (or however long ) miles. Otherwise it would become an almost unpoliced drag strip Daz
  9. Back to the top for any new info? Cheers Daz

  13. I have just spent a long time looking into this too when I sold the scoob & bought a track car. The major issue here is Tow vehicle weight and towing capacity. I looked at all types of things, BMW 540 (4.4l), Legacy (2.5l), Shogun (3.5, 2.8 &2.5l) I eventually went for the Shogun 2.8 SWB TD. It has the weight & towing capability without question. It also gives good all round vision when towing / reversing etc. Ok its not fast, but people still get out of the way and 33mpg on average including some towing in the mix. 2.8 engine is better than the 2.5 as it has chain instead of belt & more grunt. I held out for a wide arch version 98 on but these are nearer the 6K mark HTH Daz Just re read - 1.3 ton. Yep you are looking at a 4x4 for that.
  14. Sorry for doubting, just never done this before. I will pm you the details tomorrow Cheers Daz
  15. Ok, During the big sell off of my scoob bits, someone bought item/s and paid by cheque, this initially cleared but then after a couple of weeks I was informed it had bounced and was returned to me with the stamp "refer to drawer". On contacting the buyer, they claim unautherised use of their account which the bank is investigating. They have now asked for my account details to do a transfer, My question is - Is it safe to give out my bank details to them or should I insist on a safer option? Cheers Daz
  16. looking at a ban I believe - generally anything over 100 is. Daz

Carl, Scoobylav & I have just purchased such a beast as a track car, We spent weeks looking for one in budget ( 1/3 of yours ), eventually got one off ebay, although it meant a wee trip south of the border to collect it. There is a peugeot track night on 26th july @ knockhill, perhaps there will be some decent ones for sale there ? Few pics attached to get you in the mood Daz if you need any more info give me a shout.
