  1. genral condition is improtant since its going to be used as a track car and any upgrades are easy to get your hands on if your quick on the forsale section.

  3. Its to do with electronic principal that one strand of wire can only carry 0.5 Amp so the thicker the wire the more individaul strands of wire inside therefore the more Amps it can carry. Impressed myself that time
  4. I had got mine from AWD in perth dont know how much but dont think they where expensive give Andy a call at AWD hell sort it out.
  5. Deffently stick them on here, they probably just need serviced as long as your honest cant see anyone having a problem
  6. Best bets phone round small independants, autoglass are a rip off. they quoted me the same kind of price but managed to get one done for around £100
  7. Sorry to hear that, scum bags just can't see anybody with anything nice. It was probably a couple of wasters cos if they where there to steel the car thay wouldn't bother trying the car they would of tryed to get the keys, as has happened to others on this site. hope they get whats coming to them. B*****DS
  8. The P1's didn't come with a number plaque under the ash tray these where added later by owners. Group buys where run on P1OC. the best way is to check if the chassis plate on the N/S suspension if it has been stamped with the cars number from prodrive. Not all P1's run the engine at 50k there is plenty with over 100k and still no noise never mind engine damage. Mine has 52k and is quiter than most new ones. But the best advice is if in doubt walk away there are plenty of good P1's forsale with the documentation to back them up. Plus 10k is alot for them these days. I couldn't get £7500 for mine, 52k 2 owners full subaru history.

  10. Working on my car today was refitting the interior trim, its like the rear door card, but on my P1. It wasnt fitting right so took it off completely and found three black boxes all on there own wiring loom and obviously added to the car. started to trace the wiring and found a trimble GPS device and a wire running outside the car to a thin black plastic square think its an aerial. The three boxes one has ericcson printed on it an aerial coming out off it and a sim card fitted in it, the second is quite heavy and only four wires think its a battery and the third has wires from everything think its a control unit. Now here is the problem what the hell is it? I've owned the car for a year but bought it from a dealer that new nothing about the car to the extent that they didn't know the HKS front mount was an add on. I think it maybe a tracker device hopefully. does anyone recognise this set up please help and if someone does how do I reactivate it?
  11. I looked for ages for free software but in the end i bought software from a company called AVEX. dvd converter works really well and really easy to use and the picture quailty is really good.
  12. count me in, haven't been on in ages been working on car to hard lol . and the 7th suits me too.
