Fee, Is Adams welder a gasless MIG ? You need to really remove all the paint etc and clean the metal with them, go nuts with the grinder. That might give him/you a smoother weld (and better penetration ) Its not too difficult, just takes a bit of practice getting the settings right - specially on dissimilar thickness metals. Daz

Ian, That 2nd pic (roof sheet) looks just like your handywork That'll be the finished article then LOL So you went from a quality colour to the matt white/brown/yellow etc you have now? Daz We're keeping the sunroof. (Escape hatch )

Couple more, Its a real PIA fitting into a sunroof car, roof lining needs to be binned and BFH is involved 2nd is why its worth all the hassle Daz

I did the Ferrari Experience 2 years ago at Silverstone. TBH I found the laps in the Elise more fun, but you cant beat the sound of a Ferrari on WOT down the straight ( I got told off for not braking early enough ) Oh, & they switched instuctors on me when the found out I drove a modded Scoob day to day LOL Daz
