Yes. On mine you turn the ignition to on, press the alarm button, turn the car off and remove the key, get out, shut the doors, hit the alarm key and it should flash the lights 8 times instead of 4. That turns the ultrasonics off. It only does it once, so same routine every time you get out.

I forgot that I replied to this. Was typing it on the phone. I've been using TomTom for over 2 years now, firstly on my smartphone and now on my phone/pda combo. The map coverage is excellent and the interface is extremely user friendly. If you're buying their own all in one solutions rather than just software for a phone then you'll find the kit itself is fantastic quality.

You will need a fitting kit for it. Not entirely sure where to get one though. When I bought my SSQV it was the one specifically for the car so came with the appropriate kit for the Impreza intercooler mount.

Halfords will have tomtoms for cheap today in their sale. Don't buy any other brands as the tomtom ones are the best.

You only get nav options when there is more than 10 posts (or whatever your options are set to). Mind you, the nav at the bottom allows you to skip to the next page on the thread, not the next thread (like at the top). Not a problem though [] Please let me login using firefox [:'(] Forums are outwith my control so can't change the max width thing. Plus I don't like that anyway, I prefer to have pictures in the size they were meant. I see the page nav options now, but we always had that at both top and bottom I believe. What I miss is the breadcrumb trail for which forum I'm in being at both top and bottom. As for why you can't get in using Firefox - not sure. I went in to my cookies and deleted all the forums.sidc.co.uk ones, closed FF down, reopenned, logged in and that was it.

You should only need to scroll to see pictures if the picture is bigger than your monitor's resolution. that's a problem no matter what forum you visit unless they employ picture resizing, but I don't know any that do that.
