  1. Oh and it was a WR Blue new age, minus the SUBARU badge on the boot. Private scooby plate which I recognised too.
  2. You should be able to raise the mudflaps if you can't raise the suspension. My car's on Tein springs and I had to raise the front flaps as they had 6mm of clearance, which wasn't enough!
  3. Stickied. Think it was deserving of a place.
  4. Andy, one thing - is the exhuast no on the wrong side? [] I jest mate. Showed it to some friends and colleagues and most of them are well impressed.
  5. Traffic lights in Uddingston to the roundabout at the dual carriage. I was riding stealth in the german oil burner. Scottish Scoobies on the plate.
  6. Andy, I'd always imagined what this car would look like. Seen a couple of wideboys in the mags etc. but this is a different gravy altogether. It looks like it's just come out the front door at prodrive with ticks in all the boxes that say "tarmac rally spec". Absolutely stunning. I can't think of 1 thing I'd want to change on that at all. 11 out of 10
  7. Sorted your reply Peter. Never copy and paste from the grey bit above a reply box. Copy it from the original page and then hit reply.
  8. John, I imagine getting into the 10s would win just about every time.
  9. That's the one Bandit. Delivery was about a week.
  10. Remember, no special formatting or smileys in the list as it knackers it for everyone else.
  11. eBay, that place I got mine from. £65 delivered from the USA.
  12. Whilst smokin' a tab?
  13. Bandit, GC8 is classic.
  14. I would have said no Alan, but I saw one in Motherwell a couple of weeks ago and it was actually quite cool.
  15. Next time go for clutchless flat shifting. Gearbox should last ... until 3rd gear maybe? [] I was crossing the line in 4th in the WRX, so I'm guessing you'll be going over in 5th, so that could lose you a wee bit of your terminal. Wing mirrors in or out too?
  16. I just bought one of the bungs Brian, not fitted it yet though.
  17. Gearing maybe Craig? Your launch technique seemed very good s that probably helped your times.
  18. Is that the small H&S or the jap style you're talking about. I can asure you the jap style is not comfortable on the ears at cruising speed especially with the deresonated centre section.
  19. Wee bump seeing as there was action yesterday. Fixed the list so it's autonumbered. 20. George, the scuderia cars are always very nicely turned out so I'm sure you'll do a fitting job with that lovely BBS rim (must be worth a mint too!) Keep us posted.
  21. A LOT more often. Nice one Tosh, will see it at the Glasgow meets no doubt. [y]
  22. G, the times aren't green light to finish line. The times are based on when you launch. So if jac launched .2 of a second before you and you won by .2 of a second then his time would be .4 down. Last year I "raced" a pug 206, but I knew it wasn't going to be trouble for me to win so instead of launching on the green I launched a second later when I knew I was ready. That time was actually my best from what I remember.
  23. That looks very nice Del. Works very well with the headlights, gives it a bit of an evil grin.
  24. Weather looks like it will be good, but cold. I'd have come up if the car was ready, but it's not. I'm definitely up for the inter region competition, I mentioned it to Ally in my recap of the Glasgow meet but not sure if he's asked the other ROs. The SS vs. MLR event talked about was a sprint at Kames, but that's been sidelined for the moment. Could be worth seeing if they fancy a drag competion though.
  25. Wont get anything for his mods really on a trade-in. Strip it and he'll do better.
