  1. http://www.nengun.com/zero-sports/meter-hood Linky. Robert - "standard" three are boost, oil temp and oil pressure. My STI Genomes are those three flavours. Easy enough to fit, if you have the right tools.
  2. I'm on. First outing since the 248 became the 290. Two mates also on - Westy Megablade and the Z4. CANNAE WAIT!
  3. Anyone got any suggestions? Need to get 4 litres of good oil and a new filter near Glasgow for putting in tomorrow. Ideally somewhere that could do it at short notice would be ace, otherwise we'll manage ourself.
  4. Anyone driving said car last night about half 6? I was in the Black WRX that wasn't getting left behind []
  5. Good results Jim. Good results indeed. I'm glad the modding bug has yet to be extinguished []
  6. Robert, will send you a link to that for cheap later when I find it.
  7. It's a great price. I paid thrice that in labour just to have mine looked at! Which was the last straw as far as ever going to the stealers is concernd.
  8. Just had a rear passenger side bearing fixed on my 2005 Blobeye. Known weak point apparently.
  9. I've found the Scott Lowe splitter fairly robust. Grounded it a few times. The problem with my car, and indeed with John's is the fact it's also running the Teins. It's lower than a snakes belly.
  10. My bro was heading to Easter road for the football and got caught up. Says traffic is a nightmare. I was eastbound at 8am and everything was cool then, but heading home from Edinburgh after the football traffic has cleared, so hopefully it's not too bad Westbound. BBC says it's only 1 car, but must have been pretty bad.
  11. Never replace them singularly, always in pairs. Get everything fitted then get the geometery done.
  12. I find a blip of the throttle is more effective than the horn in my car. Certainly louder.
  13. Yup. You'd not deleted them, they'd just slipped off your screens as your default filtering was set at 2 months. I've changed the 2 month filter to off now so they are showing again.
  14. After much rummaging in the settings I think it should be fixed. []
  15. It is there, but it is disappearing off the page after 2 months of inactivity. By default the filtering options on the forum are set to two months. If you go to the more options button at the bottom of the scottish scoobies sub section of the forum you can change it to display all threads and not just ones newer than 2 months old. I will look later to see if the default option can be changed as it's not ideal.
  16. There's a million different ways to mod these cars. Do you want a drag monster or a track car or just a great road car? http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/952168.aspx - Cals guide for what he's done so far is excellent. I've not done such a tidy write up but here's what I have on my 2005 car - http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/post/913700.aspx
  17. Grant, the a-line tiny lip spoiler and the properly cleaned boot would look superb.
  18. Looks very nice Grant. I bet you got a hell of a noise off that exhuast in the car park too. Same backbox as mine but I'm running the miltek centre section, and the full decat too obviously. I set a couple of alarms off in one of the multi-storey car parks in Glasgow with it. Teeheehee.
  19. I got 30K+ out of a set of rear pads. With trackdays. The dealer is obviously slowing down too much.
  20. Happy birthday there Gus. You don't look a day over 60.
  21. Kev, could be the brakes binding or something like that. Take it to the dealers and see what they say. I have what sounds like a rear wheel bearing gone on my 05, it makes a squeeky noise but it still makes it with the brakes applied. Only goes away when stopped, and increases/decreases in intensity depending on speed.
  22. Can't believe it's been over a year Kenny. Looks fantastic though. All the pipework and fitting looks perfect. Sign of a good install. Hope you get good results []
  23. John, does it come with a harness specifically for the car or is it the type that requires you to start splicing into the wiring loom?
  24. He's well happy with it Peter. Sounds excellent without being too loud. Quality is first rate and really looks the part. He just needs to iron out all the other problems! Oh and he enjoyed his dinner last night too []
  25. I was in a stealthy Citroen C4 with a westy megablade behind me coming through Kilbirnie this evening and saw you coming the other way. Mates car was down at Meercat getting a new exhuast made, and I was driving his shopping car back home seeing as I have wheel bearing issues with mine. We'd seen the leggy earlier and both commented how nice it looks [y]
