  1. You got your answer there Robert. Good choice of gauges I must say. Loving JAC's setup with the 4. That water temp one must be rare as rocking horse shit.
  2. Seen them for less than 14 Col. Criminially cheap.
  3. Those the litchfield/powerstation sourced 6 pot Porsche branded APs then? Very nice indeed.
  4. Nice cars Phil. Love the colour of the WRX, very unusual. Welcome to the club too, plenty of action up your neck of the woods. The national day for Scotland is held in Alford and is only a few weeks away.
  5. You spammers, that one was already posted last year.
  6. There's a project later in the summer to fabricate the Lower grill mesh for my car. Think I can do it all in for less than £10. Prodrive one is about £150 or something. B&Q is a fine choice []
  7. Frank, B+Q have LOADS mate. Halfords have mesh too but it's nae cheap and well Mesh is Mesh really. Try experimenting with it. You're never going to get fully away with stones without blocking if off completely, but that helps no one really.
  8. But they do own a large portion of FHI.
  9. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread...;highlight=S-GT Interesting read there about the S-GT. Japan-centric of course, but worth a read.
  10. You bypassing the swear filter there Doug?
  11. Autoexpress is the car equivalent of heat magazine. maybe if there's no rex in the uk then we're getting a cheaper sti? or possibly more then one sti? Hell, with reporting like that I could write for autoexpress.
  12. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/935872.aspx More info there.
  13. Davie, that was the funniest thing I've read in quite some time. I miss your rally reports too, they were always great reading.
  14. The standard car's handling is very capable ...... for a standard car. The enthusiast and average Joe have very different requirements for suspension. Having your bones battered about with stiff springs isn't for everyone.
  15. Auto Express is about as reliable as a 1970s Fiat. I take everything they say with 2 pinches of salt, a clove of garlic and a raindance. The S-GT has just gone on sale in Japan. That's the new name for the WRX over there. So maybe it will get branded like that here? Any "journalist" and website that managed to not catch the word "suspen-sion" in their proof reading is not worth the digital ink it's printed on.
  16. Doug, I have no idea who I'm keeping happy. I just wish you and George would ignore each other. There was plenty of discussion as to your report. The original post was deleted you'll notice.
  17. Dougster - Wikipedia defines a troll as - "someone who intentionally posts derogatory or otherwise inflammatory messages about sensitive topics in an established online community such as an online discussion forum to bait users into responding." Your comments were deliberately aimed at getting a response from George therefore you are also guilty of being a troll. Congratulations.
  18. Keith Michaels insurance came out best for me last year. Great discount through the club and all mods covered.
  19. You could possibly do a map for regular petrol and a map for V-Power, but LPG is a different kettle of fossillised fish altogether John. BUT! You can convert the car to run on LPG - I'm sure someone had done it before, but it's not just a mapping thing as it requires seperate tanks etc. etc.
  20. You never know what he might want to tow down to Knockhill though.
  21. It's hosted entirely on our server. But it's a closed system (within reason).
  22. Scoobynet and the SIDC run on different pieces of forum software, it's not a case of us not knowing how to do it here and them knowning how to do it. It's simply a matter of the software they use having the feature and ours not. Believe me if we could hack community server to have a better PM system then we would have done so a long time ago, but we can't...........
  23. Gutted Peco. Saw your car but didn't know what the score was. Didn't realise it was down at 50 for that stretch, or had they caught you further back?
  24. Absolutely first class evening Ally. The scenery up there is truly breathtaking. The yearly BBQ is really a great thing and the Glasgow region just gets better all the time. Nicola enjoyed herself too. I hope my car wasn't too quiet []
