  1. Oh I've done that Elvanfoot one many years ago in a slow car. When you know a road you can really gain time on it. It's the same with the coal trucks I was talking about. These boys drive it many times a day and probably know every square inch of it. Another good road is one I think Corsa mentioned a while back - Strathaven to Muirkirk. Also - Whitburn - Forth - Lanark. Mind the humps!
  2. Result! Made it out the estate on the route with the speedbumps without drama.
  3. Colin McRae 2005 Plus Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories Hot Shots Golf Open Tee. Which might be called Everybody's golf over here, it's a yanky import. Ridge Racer (Jap version) Toca Race Driver 2 Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix. And a couple more that I AHEM borrowed off the internet, but I can't play them at the moment as the hardware is flashed to 2.0 for playing GTA. You can catch up on my entire game collection http://users.ign.com/collection/st3ph3n'>here.
  4. So what games then JC?
  5. I believe way back when that picture first made the rounds it was described as next door's Evo. My mother thankfully has impecable taste in cars. Her last 2 have both been Hondas. Unfortunately my dad insists on buying dodgy Mercs.
  6. Al, the left sided ones are shot mate. I hounestly wouldn't touch them for road use. Someone else must have a spare set off a car surely!
  7. Get your PSP then JC?
  8. You're telling me Peter. I nearly fell over the first time I tried to get into it on Friday night! My brain was telling me it could have swore my ass cheeks were supposed to be meeting a seat about an inch before they did. Also check out the fly hubcaps on the neighbours Fiat. On a sunny day they look proper Bling with their faux chrome coating.
  9. That's probably not so good then. I'll check in the morning but my 2 spare left sided wheels have both been used as front lefts at knockhill and are likely to be highly dubious for road use. I'll definetly have a look though. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. Oh and does it matter that it's in the bronzey colour?
  10. It's a fair selection. How do you find the uprated brake lines and fluid? I must say I was very impressed by the ICE install last time I saw it.
  11. On my very first proper driving lesson, on my 17th Birthday way back in '98, a guy jumped out of the car in front of me and started screaming at me and the instructor that we'd splashed him and his "poor wee girl" a few minutes before hand. He took my name, the instructors name and the car registration and said he was reporting it to the police. When he finally let us go me and the instructor near pished ourselves laughing. It's a good feeling.
  12. Al, which wheel is it? Remember the tyres are directional. I might have one going depending on direction. I have some highly non-legal RE050s that have seen knockhill action, but I think one of them is still good.
  13. I can't claim responsibility for those ones, but certainly the ones on the A70 are Scottish Coal ones. Well they're not actually ours, but they're contracted to our sites.
  14. If you continue on past Carnwath, carstairs then Hyndford Bridge on the A70 there is a great, but short stretch between there and the M74. Past that and continuing on towards Muirkirk is good too. One thing about these roads during weekdays there's masses of Coal trucks shifting at a speed which almost defies physics at times. I've been heading to some of our sites, not in the scoob but in a company car, to be greeted by a Coal Truck coming round a blind bend in a 16 wheel drift.
  15. Got a wee shot or two in the daylight today. I was looking back at some old shots. My car has went from this: to this
  16. You mean laser garage door openners of course!
  17. I'm going to need to visit Hypertech at some time. The car's been there three times now to get new toys, but never with me in tow. Quality service though.
  18. Welcome back my friend to the show that never ends.
  19. Found lurking on page 2! For those weekend visitors that didn't catch it yesterday.
  20. JC - if it's as good as they say then it's pretty poor mate. Crashing, disc scratching, rotten launch lineup including games that crash all over the shop. Still want one though.
  21. Seriously. If you like computer games it's great.
  22. I hope you don't work in the Vauxhall Garage on Garscube road Billy. They let me drive away in a car that had loose engine bolts!
  23. C'mon now! I've not even got a set of decent gloves yet! Maybe I should get them. I'm not really fussed this year I must admit. My brother has got me some tyre bags for my spare set of wheels, I know that. Other than that I'm hoping for the Simpsons DVDs I don't own and a gift certificate for a Ruf 911.
  24. We should stick him on Mastermind with that as his chosen subject. Although it wont be as good as the boy that done Father Ted this year.
  25. Let me give the springs a bit of time to get bedded in before making a full evaluation, but ride quality was if anything slightly better. I have full alloy droplinks all round which stiffenend it up a bit already. As far as wheels go - not interested in the PFFs or replicas. There's plans afoot for next year
