  1. Lesley, you need to upload the pictures to somewhere like www.photobucket.com then link them. You've linked them to your PC and we all don't have access to that!
  2. I've got to agree. My clutch took a bit of a pounding and would rather save the car for Knockhill then have an easy winter and save up for the next stage of my project.
  3. Actually to clarify it: The "my lardy new age subaru is faster than your subaru, but still no where near Andy F's rocket sled, but I've got this wee diddy trophy that st3ph3n made to prove it, so there!" Cup.
  4. Yes, some rules might need to be established. Only V-iagra or is meths allowed? Cars running the same interior componentery etc.
  5. Of course Peter. Red lighting results in a loss, which will be verified at the start lights by the independent adjuticator (me). The competition will be called: The "my subaru is faster than your subaru and I've got the trophy to prove it, so there!" Cup.
  6. I'm thinking a best of 3 straight shootout between Blue Thunder and DCI Lee's Panda Car next time at crail to settle this. No ET racing, just straight up first man to cross the line wins. I'll even get a special trophy made up for the winner.
  7. Welcome welcome. Pull up a chair and pour yourself a refreshment.
  8. You know what it is - that M8 bores the hell out of me now as I've driven it so many times. I need other traffic on the road to intimidate. Plus the freelander had the high beams on which was annoying me. Next time I promise to make it more interesting. Like the lights at hermiston gait []
  9. I'd say one list was fine and we should get everyone up there with a scooby in scotland. We're an equal opportunities forum. We'll take the pish out of anyone.
  10. TOp meet this evening. Very relaxed and sociable compared to the fast and the furious glasgow ones. Good to see some old faces and some new faces. Enjoyable jaunt home with Craig and his daughter and Jimster, oh and fast scooby showing us how it's done at one point too.
  11. Yes. Couldn't have put it better myself. Where's Andy F anyway, he's a scottish scoobie and should take his place rightfully at the top of the tree.
  12. Nice car. I've fixed the wide post too.
  13. Cusco do one, APR in america, SRB Power sell one from I think Chargespeed. You can also get the genuine one from the MY06 STI, should fit. Try www.japanparts.com for the Cusco one. Not sure where would be good for the APR one and www.srbpower.co.uk for the chargespeed one. ebay too. Let me know if you find a good one as I've been looking for one for my blobeye.
  14. I've tidied them up using my special powers.
  15. The scott lowe one was drilled to match the holes in the bumper and fitted very easily.
  16. Welcome to the forums. I'm sure if it came with SIDC stickers then the car will have been well looked after by one of the members.
  17. The story is just beginning to pickup Peter. Stay tuned over the next few months for some further developments hopefully.
  18. Knockhill trackday start of June last year. Had been considering mild mods at that point, but nothing had been done. Turned up with a stock WRX (save for the mudflaps) and watched and listened in absolute awe at some of the cars there. Within 2 weeks it had a backbox. Within 3 months it had droplinks, uprated pads, geoemtery setup, new rear wing and splitter. And the story unfolds from there.
  19. Remember the 10% SIDC discount. Dale, the mudflaps are still half the price of genuine subaru parts!
  20. Lol Peter. All I wanted was mudflaps. 225bhp is MORE than enough I though. They'll handle perfectly out of the factory as well. I blame all of you.
  21. Scott Lowe for me too. Mudflaps, bonnet struts, splitter and rear wing all came from him
  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCmJ3Ugmrro Watch the maestro drive then tell you how to drive.
  23. Cal - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUBARU-02-I...sspagenameZWD2V
  24. It would have been the mid section and cat delete pipe probably. Next thing - needs an oil change and brake improvements will follow before the end of the year if I decide on the minor option.
  25. Without spending hours trying out different settings and see what works best for you then yes. The best £40 or £50 you'll spend. Turn in becomes a joy, and not a vague excersise in risk management.
