always a touchy subject is this.
unless your going for serious power, i would stick with an element.
& if you go induction kit, you need a remap, or risk doing serious damage to your engine

Flaps refitted, will have a play over the next couple of days, but sure all's well

Need to post this, how many times do we complain about poor customer service?
Just had a PM from Rallyarmour regarding the mudflaps, I have fitted both the spacer and clamp, should have only fitted 1, it would seem the flaps are catching the tyre when car pushed hard, this makes sense from what I have noticed, both looking at the flaps & driving the car
Was going to contact, but thought I'd have a play when I'm off work shortly, Rallyarmour saw this thread, got in touch, sent pictures etc, can't beat that for customer service.
I'll have a look over the next week or so & let you all know how things go, but have very litle doube there will be an issue
Thanks Rallyarmour Mudflaps delivered from America in under a week at a reasnoble price & even noticed I had an issue caused by myself in fitting on a UK website

Same head unit as ours, not got the rest of the kit, but well pleased with it

Liking the motor welcome aboard

Thanks for the reply's gents, will leave the rear flaps off for a bit, but sure that's the noise, maybe just need a tweak with the alignment
Sorry Mike not heard that on ours
-
Got to say not that i have noticed but ive got 17" wheels and dont u have the 18"s?
Yep got 18's will investigate further cheers

Anyone wih an 08 & Rally Armour mudflaps had issues with them catching? Have to admit you do need to try, but sounds like something is falling off the car, deffo the rear flaps taken 1 off tonight, pushed even harder & no noise
Only done this 3 or 4 times, mind I don't drive it as often as I would like looked at the mudflap, nothing much I can see, even wondered if it's catching on the tyre??

Think they need the colour changing, but that's only my opinion
Was going to have the power hike, but to be honest, quite happy with the car as it is think going to leave it alone, not sure on PPP, think it depends on how friendly your dealer is from what I've heard, is PPP available yet?

Sounds like ABS to me , if it was warped disks it would do it all the time without hitting a bump
-
Know what your saying but also seen quite a few threads where classics have had problems after service, maybe it's belt & braces, but I just like to be as safe as possible
-
where is sped when you need him
Could just see him outside number 10

I always prime the filter, disconnect the crank sensor (located under the altenator) & crank till the oil ligh goes out, takes approx 3 x 20 sec bursts

Sounds good mate, result with the brakes & most Scooby specialists can supply pads and disks
Re the dump valve, used to be able to hear ours, usually with the window down, but only just
Back box is down to you, car will be fine with it, you have the important part in place, can always pick up a prodrive box from for about £100 if you change your mind, but it will make it a lot quieter I suspect
-
Well if it's not the government it's the police, think the motorist's just an easy for them all to make money
-
Some good advise above
Prodrive brakes were grey / silver, deffo not red, may have been painted, or could be AP Racing, very good news if "AP's"
Exhaust, grill & scoop, not standard as aleady mentioned
No show stopers, just be careful

Thanks Paul!

Kip, words fail me mate, hope you get sorted out

Didnt clarkson also say it was quicker than the WR1 round the track? Anyway I will probably never drive mine like that, and am more than happy with my choice. Not that i have to justify it to anyone, except the wife £££.
satisfied MY08 STi owner.
Lee
Agree & yep black is the fastest colour don't even have to justify it to the wife mind have to fight her for the keys so I can drive it every now and again

This week its the EVO X vs STI I think.
Oh yes hope they test them on the road as well as the track
Richard travels to France in Audi's new 572bhp RS6 estate car to take part in a spectacular race with a pair of irritatingly cool skiers.
Jeremy takes the Mercedes CLK Black for a late-night drive on London's deserted streets and accidentally ends up in Wales.
Top Gear Stunt Man returns to recreate one of the most famous car stunts in movie history.
And, bad boys of motoring, the Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru Impreza, fight it out on the test track. Clarkson referees.
