  1. Well bit of an update, I've not driven the car for 600 miles apart from to fill with petrol  took it for the 1000 mile serive today road to garage just happens to be 1 of my favourite B roads :):D

Now cars not been above 4k & still not been above 5.5k & not thrashed, but I did notice that it's a lot freeer than it was at 300 miles, love the driving position, was wet and muddy on the roads so didn't go wild................mind I did find out they can fly :P was travelling a touch quicker than I thought over a yump & just about took off, no drama, but you don't feel the speed :gay:

Handled the wet slippery backroad a treat, given back to Deb to break in a bit more, then it's proer play time :gay: must admit were both more than happy with the car

1 complaint, it's far too quiet, deffo need to fix this, don't get me wrong, we don't want it too loud, but we do want to hear it :gay::(

  2. Looking good Al, some nice options fitted :):D Ours goes for it's first service this week, have to admit I havn't been driving it since the first weekend, Deb's run it in :D:D

Mad Medic, re the front lip, Subaru UK want £375 http://imwww.imgroup.co.uk/IMGGB/WWW/Subar...1D?Opendocument

Ours was £250 + VAT from Litchfields for the Genuine STI item :iagree::D, now I don't know if we got a deal here because we bought the car from Litchfields, but maybe worth a phone call :P

  4. Lights are a personal thing, I just don't like the originals, Danny loves em, says it's cos I'm old, he may be right ;):D

Yep P2 was wishful thinking, bought some time ago as a pressie for Deb LOL

Brian, they do look a lot better in the flesh, the more I look at it the more I like...............but we would say that :D

  5. The car looks great :o and gost not a focus or a seat coment yet, :rotfl:

I wasn't sure about the Trims "if" I were to fit them I'd colour code them same as the Car reckon would look much better IMHO

    Tony

Been told Litchfields are having some carbon rear panels made to fit on the rear bumper underskirt................I don't want to see them :D

  6. Must get the overlays done on the lights,

Forgot to post this, they are changing the O/S inner light, can't see it too well on the pic, but N/S is white for reverse, O/S is currently red, having a Jap spec O/S with a red LED for about £40

  7. Had a day in the garage today, cleaned and polished, learned a couple of things, I was right, the wheels take ages to clean, now I'm 6 foot, but it's a reach to the middle of the roof, not a problem, but much shorter & you would need steps to wash the car :P

Mud flaps fitted, not too bad but it's a butt clenching moment when your removing the side skirt for the first time :rotfl::P

Intruduced it to the local V-Power shop, on the way home from Silverstone, approx 180 miles, it did about 25.5 MPG, not bad, engine still tight & although driving steady we were not travelling much different to normal at cruising speeds :o:P

    Well pleased :D:banana:
