  1. We bought the 08STI Euro premium model from Litchfields

Was 27k, now 28k, think next batch will be another 1k, but they had a red & a blue available last weekend

It's largly he same as UK car, except, 18's as standard, the pukka BBS alloys, £750 each without rubber and centres from Subaru UK :rotfl: Recaro's, sat nav, rear tints, keyless entry & push button start, they also fixed the rear lights for us

    More details here http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtop...mp;hl=our+hatch

Can't comment regarding 17's or 18's only driven on the 18's, unfortunatly the sat nav went missing on the docks & we've got a Kenwood fitted, so again can't comment

For 2k difference at the time it was a no brainer to us 3 years UK warranty & had confirmation it's registered from Subaru UK :rotfl: had to pay for the trackstar subscription on top, think that's covered on a UK car, but that was the only downside we found :rotfl:

  2. this saddens me to comment on black - as i Own a black Scooby (Not Focus copy) - I think I can add this comment .

the Black colour (dark graphite or whatever it is Subaru call the new one) makes the new Subaru STI look PLAIN !! all the sporty trim etc that trys to make this car NOT look like the Ford Focus are lost - In turn a plain car that does not stand out at all,

My opinion is its ashame Subaru made this sorry looking design and called it an Impreza ! Why not call it the something like Impreza Spec 2 (Something a little different) - Well back to the shape and colour - at least in the Blue with Gold wheels this stands out more and looks more like a real Impreza (Well the best it can :crying: ) Roll on MORE NEW BLUE Impreza's :)

The black comment was a bit of fun as we own a black STI hatch, not a Foucs copy, have a look at an STI, then look at a Focus road car, they are worlds apart both inside & out :crying::P

Anyway each to their own, this model may apeal to a diferent market :rotfl: but above all Subaru need to start winning rallies again, something we have not done for the last 3 years :D yes the car's now a hatch like the other current sucessfull WRC cars, but lets face it the reason we all run Scoobs is due to their rallying haeitage ;):D

New WRC car launched next week, lets get behind Subaru & wish it every sucess :(

  3. Yes saw the Evo test & Banzai, all good  heard today it's correct about Subaru putting up the prices £1500, our euro premium pack model is already 1k dearer, with more to add in October, possibly an additional 1.5K :)

Same with me re the driving Debbie has a 70 mile round trip to work, but I wouldn't want to park it at 1 of our sites, so look forward to driving the long way home from the filling station :P

  4. Yep enjoying it Lee & yes going for the power hike & exhaust when available , should be a month or so we hope

Not noticed tyre noise, but not driven it in the dry myself for a while, it does seem a little vague on turn in, but if I'm a touch more aggresive with it then it's fine, to be honest I've not driven it enough on back roads yet, but the more I do the more I like it & Debbie's well pleased

    Any further thoughts on yours?

    Paul
