  1. Dale, newage rack was simply what came up Colin, the up pipe is a bit of an issue, had to be fettled to fit. It was made by an old guy in East Lothian that reckons he knows how to tweek an Impreza ---john---

  8. Hi Andy, It's just a Standard pressed steel pan with Marks alloy baffling fitted, from the out side I'm liking yours much more Baffling is really good though, 'it does what it says in the tin' so to speak You are right to be sceptical aout some of the offerings out there, I have an ARC cast alloy sump in the garage I bought a couple of years ago, externally it's well Gucci, inside is a different matter though, it's a piece of crap !!!!!!! Wouldn't put it on my road car. ---john---
  9. Took the Lateral Performance sump off my old engine tonight. (Engine is going to a new home ) so that I can install on the new one coming (Pics to follow ) First time I've seen inside, well impressed at the baffling and the welding is first class, if your going to be going round in circles in your car fast, get yourself one of these It's been on the car a whole season and I haven't seen a whiff of oil surge.
  10. Can anyone PM me it please ? thanks ---john---
  11. My mate JohnMcG was up tonight and we pulled the Engine and Gearbox. Engine is on it's way to Kirky to be installed in Arch's car. Gearbox is off to Kenny Brown in Hillington to change the 3/4 drive gears and dog ring. Dogs are worn on 4rth gear and it won't stay in on full throttle, so needs replaced before the season starts. I rarely use 4rth on Sprints/Hills, but expect to use it a little more this year Sorry no pics, but who want's to see one of an empty engine bay anyway ? ---john---

  19. I wouldn't put 'shockproof' in a Subaru Syncro box, as George says, don't skimp. The chap I buy my oil from, and take advice from, is Alyn at AS performance, it's fine being a 'shipper' of oil like Opie, selling in bulk, but AS have the experience running these boxes competatively, experience is everything, no brainer to me. ---john---
  20. More Technical, who's gonna explain it to him Feck the technicalities, Pics Please Kidding, ---john---
