  1. come along and join us in Crieff Andy, you definitely wont be doubling back on yourself
  2. no its fine with a scottish car Chris, no need to get one from a pole.....
  3. hmm i feel a plan coming on..... how about a bit of an old timers get together at the stirling beefeater - we could even let Bobby in with his pasty white aRSe
  4. Thanks for posting that Brian - first Ive heard of it, which is sad as Im supposed to be the RO liason Hope you and Tam are well and still got the scoobs - must grab a cuppa in stirling some time to catch up Dave
  5. welcome along mate - plenty of time to get along to stuff and dont worry, I had no intention of modifying my sti when I got it either lol
  6. looking good Al - i know its sacriledge but think I actually prefer your bug to your brothers RB.....
  7. they did a lot to my car too but to be honest the service wasnt as good after Andy left which is why I went to RA and so did a lot of other people
  8. I believe AWD had to be wound up - the mechanics that used to be there were running under AG motorsport or something similar so Im guessing Grant has set up again on his own
  9. err yes Paul, thanks for that - now you know why i keep my hair short........
  10. ive got two for work - might need to rinse the red derv out first though
  11. Hiya Folks, as some of you may know the last few years the club has had a stand at this show which raises money for charity - this year Tam and Brian have passed the organisers my name as contact to see if we'd be interested in attending - entry is free to exhibitors and entrants are requested to be on the show field from 10-4 If we're going to attend I need to have all details of possible entrants submitted by the 30th of April so would need to close the list by the 28th,29th at the latest. So who's interested? 1. Scooby222
  12. Matty I can confirm that I have indeed organised some very fine establishments for food stops on friday and saturday (place on saturday looks lovely) - sunday isnt long enough to justify a big stop though and theres no danger of you being able to keep up with a haggis even if they were free
  13. with being patient and buying second hand or on special offers ive managed to only spend a ridiculous amount of money instead of an indecent amount lol best lesson regardless of cost or budget is to wait and buy the right parts regardless of price - having tried to buy cheaper versions of uprated brakes to save cash it ended up costing me a lot more in the long run with 2k on a newage sti I would blow the lot on serious brakes, harness and a set of ARB's 10k would be a md321 turbo and remap, AP brakes and KW suspension, set of harnesses and bin the seats, cards etc
  14. well look at who alls crawling out of the woodwork - anytime your heading for knockers gimme a shout, theres a long awaited challenge and my cars getting track use now as for weight reduction the tough mudder training should get rid of the most excess weight your hauling around
  15. yea, certainly a good 5 hours at least Matty - A9 from Perth to Inverness on a saturday afternoon is just non stop traffic, looking at 45-50 mph most of the way up
  16. you should be ok unless you really pack in the duty free on the way back..... although the eibachs are lower theyl be a bit stiffer so that should compensate - as long as your running standard wheels and tyres youl be fine
  17. Phil, first rule of scooby club - dont mention fuel economy......
  18. great idea! Phil we now need you on all runs - il supply the bowser
  19. 300 miles Lewis, give or take 180 on saturday.....
  20. just making sure to emphasise the point that those with a thirsty motor and a heavy foot want to have a jerry can or octane booster with them especially on saturday - THERE IS NO VPOWER AFTER INVERNESS TILL WE GET BACK TO INVERNESS ON SUNDAY (that means no tesco 99 either for those in doubt....)
