getting your arse off the sofa more often might well help with the free weight saving Barry and when your talking about suspension changes try weighing a coilover and a standard unit and see the weight saving. as you know im quite happy with my basic BC's but theyre pretty much the weak spot on the car and the racing spec ones with remote reservoirs should be far better bump control

if you can afford them AP's are the way to go without a doubt I know a few people who have used the ksport kits and been really pleased with them, another option is stoptech kits - try RA motorsport for them. As Lewis said Alyn at AS performance really knows his stuff is very helpful and always willing to price match if he's not the cheapest

i found the mintex 1144's with standard discs and braided lines was a good combo, worked well from cold but could still stand a fair bit of heat

glad youve got it back at last - but i notice the gearknobs squint, better get that sorted pronto

Neil just stick on the cheapest discs you can get your hands on but use good quality pads - for bang for buck id go with mintex 1144's from personal experience the above mentioned company has been the worst product ive ever fitted to any car, with both my classics (uk turbos running 4 pots) i cracked every set of standard discs i had on with purely road use so i would say go with as little outlay as possible for now and save for better calipers further down the line.
