  1. I thought there wasn't a cat in the centre section just a resonator box. the cat is in the "cat pipe" between the centre section and downpipe IIR. In the blobeye the cat pipe used to be replaced by a decat pipe as part of the Prodrive upgrade and just the heatshields refitted. Caught a few folk out at the time Is yours a Hawkeye John? Gus

  3. Yes Chris (to a degree)! They will insure your car with the mods but will not replace modified parts if you had a claim, they will only replace with standard parts.

Fantastic road but not one to lose your concentration on or its Give us a shout if you are gonig out on the bike I'm always looking for an excuse. 11. Aye, spoke too bloody soon Billy never mind, nothing more serious than a slight nick in the bottom hose but by feck coolant gets everywhere Thankfully Bobby C Breakdown Services came to the rescue and we managed to move the hose slightly further along the bottom pipe and tighten over the nick with the jubilee clip which stopped the leak completely. Hopefully get a new hose by the weekend so that I can still go on next Saturdays Borders Anyway B.O.T, a great event, with great weather and thoroughly decent company..............and well done haud it n daud it . Roll on the next one!

  13. I used this company http://www.aiclaimssolutions.com/ hopefully I'll never need them again but if I did I would have no hesitation in using them again
  14. If you are having any problems put it in the hands of an Accident Management Company (AMC). I had a similar issue last year when someone ran into the Mrs van, told their insurer to GTF and took it to the body shop I wanted it repaired at. The AMC did all the hard work and had a replacement hire van with us in under an hour and the van repaired to our satisfaction at our chosen repairer (Stevie Walker in Bathgate) and returned within a few days. The AMC also took the insurer to court as they were trying to get away with non-payment of our hire vehicle..............needless to say the insurer lost
  15. Al, as you know I've had 11 subaru's over the years., Foresters, Legacy's and Impreza's both normally aspirated and turbo and I'd go as far as saying there is very little cost difference between running a turbo Forester for example and a normally aspirated one....and compared to a WRX the only real gain I would say is insurance which can be £100+ less expensive for the Forester (turbo) and maybe upto £200 on normally aspirated Road taxes are comparable but obviously dependent on which age of vehicle you go for!? Fuel wise, 1-4mpg of a difference if your lucky. Hope that helps?
  16. always had 1st class customer service, discounts and next day delivery too
  17. Off to the AGM in Lincolnshire like all good "staff" should be
  18. entirely, if this club aims to continue to exist, which many of you know it nearly didn't this time last year, then with a simple but effective change to the meaning of the acronym it widens the potential membership base by "inviting" owners of other models to the fold. Surely this can only be a good thing. Regarding "St James' Park" it has been and always will be in my eyes
