  1. In the thread title Neil, Sunday 19th August. Most of us are in Englandshire that weekend at Day
  2. Anyone want to take a lead on this? last chance or its room 101
  3. Minted!
  4. Folks, Just received an e-mail regarding this event and wondered if anyone would be interest in taking the lead on behalf of SIDC? (I'm not putting it in events yet so leave it alone Del ) Unfortunately it clashes with Rally Day so a lot of the usual suspects will be down in Englandshire flying the that weekend If someone wants to take the lead reply here
  5. John, if you have Prodrive (PPP) then the cat pipe ( bit between the centre section and downpipe) has already been replaced with a straight through pipe and the heat shields refitted. Its this that caught a few folk out thinking it was still standard. If you just want more burble and the original centre section with resonator box is still on then replace it with a straight through (de-resonated) section
  6. I thought there wasn't a cat in the centre section just a resonator box. the cat is in the "cat pipe" between the centre section and downpipe IIR. In the blobeye the cat pipe used to be replaced by a decat pipe as part of the Prodrive upgrade and just the heatshields refitted. Caught a few folk out at the time Is yours a Hawkeye John? Gus
  7. Excellent news Johnny

  9. Yes Chris (to a degree)! They will insure your car with the mods but will not replace modified parts if you had a claim, they will only replace with standard parts.
  10. Never noticed this til now Paul, I was down at Ayton Village for the stages today. Great as you just park in the village and walk a few yards to mid stage
  11. Johnny, did you have the RB5 previoulsy or am I confusing you with someone else? Anyway, welcome back onboard
  12. Neil, this road has been used on previous SIDC excursions.......and bike ones too. Fantastic road but not one to lose your concentration on or its Give us a shout if you are gonig out on the bike I'm always looking for an excuse. Left my "biking" until the roads were a bit quieter last night but oh what fun I had. All well within the speed limit( of the bike ) obviously
  13. Admiral for me too . RA and daily hack 2.2vectra on multi-car with business use (both), protected no claims, legal cover etc £363 for both cars. Pays to be an old fart John
  14. They have switched the lights off in my office today, said ma coupon was doing the job perfectly. oooooooooooooya
  15. Aye, spoke too bloody soon Billy never mind, nothing more serious than a slight nick in the bottom hose but by feck coolant gets everywhere Thankfully Bobby C Breakdown Services came to the rescue and we managed to move the hose slightly further along the bottom pipe and tighten over the nick with the jubilee clip which stopped the leak completely. Hopefully get a new hose by the weekend so that I can still go on next Saturdays Borders Anyway B.O.T, a great event, with great weather and thoroughly decent company..............and well done haud it n daud it . Roll on the next one!
  16. Scrubs up rather nicely Marky boy, see you in the morning
  17. Whit wabbit?
  18. Nice one Keira, keep him in order
  19. entirely, if this club aims to continue to exist, which many of you know it nearly didn't this time last year, then with a simple but effective change to the meaning of the acronym it widens the potential membership base by "inviting" owners of other models to the fold. Surely this can only be a good thing. Regarding "St James' Park" it has been and always will be in my eyes
  20. Dave there are 3 SSIDC events in September: Sat 15th SIDC Track Day, Knockhill Sun 23rd The Wheels and Wings Show, East Fortune Sat/Sun 29th/30th British Drifting Championship,Knockhill (I was going to make it 4 with a rolling roll day but will leave that til October or have it early in August if it suits Hypertech) First weekend in September?
  21. Maybe May next year Dave? it isnt a cheap thing to do but would be fantastic and would give folk time to save up if we planned it for 2013. Just my tuppence worth Maybe a Galloway Gallop for the Autumn?
