  1. Yep unlike a scooby warranty the Lexus warranty is worth the paper it is written on. My wee bro has the older shape IS200 & i can't believe some of the things he tells me about the Lexus service compared with Subaru. Slight bubbling in coating of 1 alloy so they ordered him 4 new wheels! He hadn't noticed it himself it was them that spotted it while it was being serviced. Take the car to dealer on a Sat morn & they wash & valet it for free! Lovely cars to drive & so well spec'd, i'm sure you'll enjoy it lots []
  2. Hi, Nice little turn out for a 1st meet [] with a lot of friendly folk [] Some nice cars, & good of Jason with his TypeR & his mate in the Legacy joining in when they saw a convoy of Scoobs on the road. Hope you enjoyed the run , sorry i didn't have time tonight to go the full way. Cheers for not broadcasting route [] Hope to see you all & maybe some more for the next one. Gee
  3. Has nobody else herd or tried this???
  4. Yep that was me remember giving you a wave, we were in getting sarnies in Lorimers, saw you checking your tyres in the garage while i was waiting outside. See as per point above i'll wave to all scoobs [] Colour is Ice blue metallic, WR1 only colour [H] Gee
  5. Don't talk pish mate, i wave to all the scoobs about but very rarely get 1 back, it's nowt about what your car costs it's just a lot don't know about scooby waves. To be honest i find all the young ones running about town in the older cars to be the most up themselves! So what it's a sport all that matters is it's a scoob, this isn't a turbo only forum its about Subarus in general so get yourself along to the meet & stop being paranoid []
  6. Brilliant day out & weather was great [] But boy did those midges bite in the evening!!! Only stopped by the stand end of day With a lovely welcome by Squirrel [+o(] [] Lol at the DEATH burger pmsl. Good to see you bud. Will have a look see what pics we have later, also video'd most of the action.
  7. Acid - Yep usual sort of price for there £1.03. Nope sorry didn't meet you, we were only at stand at end of the day. Dougster - Not me, mine was in car park all day. Did spot another 2 there & 1 of them was parked behind Duffas.
  8. Was down at the D1 drifting at Knockhill yesterday & filled up at the Optimax station just near there. As i was paying the Lady behind counter was telling me that was the new Optimax they had delivered i just put in my tank, i though she ment that it was just a fresh delivery but she went on to say that it was the new blend & they are starting to put it out to stations but not saying anything as yet & it will be launched officially in a few weeks. said they were wanting people to get a couple of tanks through their cars before making the big launch. Oh nearly forgot the important bit.......IT'S 100 RON Had half a tank of optimax from Inverness in & then filled up with new stuff so can really comment properly yet.
  9. Myself & Miss Scooby are still about just not been on the forum in a while, been busy moving house. 7 is a bit early for me as i'm not in from work till around then, but might try & make it up later. Gee
  10. Taped it but not watched it yet, think the P2 looks amazing in the pics i've seen so can't wait to watch it in action [] Re them actually putting it into production im sure i read somewhere that they have been amazed by the positive response they got from the public about the P2 they were gonna maybe think about it but production would be farmed out to a outside factory. Fingers crossed []
  11. Still no probs getting up here in Inverness although it costs £102.9[:@]
  12. Plenty up here in Inverness, got a very strange look when i asked about a shortage, & they almost laughed when i said i saw it on the internet.
  13. A Porche Boxster is nowt to brag about. Playing with bikes on twistys is where the fun is [] Pmsl at the folk who don't think this can be done, you obviously don't drive your scoob properly []
  14. Go for the WR1 you will not be disapointed! It is a brilliant all round package. Service is every 5000 not the 7000 stated above, but 10k,20k,30k etc services are same as a sti & the one every 5000 is more or less just a oil change(which everyone should do anyway every 5k). Also cheaper to insure than a sti. I touch goats Gee
  15. 1st i heard of this needing stickers to join relay! Ok who's the RO for Aberdeen & Highlands now? Need to get in touch with them or will any RO do?
  16. Quick scoob [] http://videos.streetfire.net/video/4F98FE5...4608E3838AE.htm
  17. I bet most of you won't remember back in the day how much space Scotland had on SIDC before Scottish Scoobies was formed???? Answer: a listing in the events section only! Think we can count ourselfs lucky with what we have, but in saying that maybe there is room for a NSR section but not a muppet section. At the end of the day this a forum, there is life outside it so go live it! Don't get upset if you don't agree with somebodys comment just move on to the next topic & forget about it. Gee
  18. Yep Like the Pzeros myself, they get a bit squealy/noisy on a warm day at KH, managed to scrub of quite a bit of rubber on the near side tyres one of the sessions last year, found some of it stuck on the inner arch washing it after, looked like rubber string lol. Standard pads lasted 2 sessions, but were covered in cracks when i changed them. Gee
  19. Glad you had a good time Andy [] Did you see my reply about the brakes on the 1.o.c? Get the Ferrodo ds2500's on & the brakes will last a lot longer before fade.
  20. Ouch costly mistake. Not really playing fair but it was clearly stated so in description. Mind seeing a similar item when the xbox 360 came out, someone payed around the £700 mark for a xbox 360 box again it clearly stated that all you were getting was the box. Golden ebay rule ALWAYS READ DISCRIPTION !
  21. 1st car at stage 1 is 10:10. Not been anywhere near town to get a program yet but do now know this is start time for SS1. Depends when you get up but scruitenering(sp) is at Arnold Clark Peugeot on Henderson road from 5-9:30 open to public. You'll get a program here or at the Thistle Hotel. Looks like Jacqui's brother Craig might be doing it as a late entry if the car passes mot test in the morn. So look out for the yellow mk 1 sierra(with Metro 6r4 clubman engine & scoob running gear[]) at the back of the pack. There's another yellow mk1 but it'll be in the printed entry list. We'll be about in the Wr1.
  22. The whistle noise is the turbo, it's same on the WR1. Is the whinning in 1st gear not just the diff?
  23. Del did you go last year? If you did do you still have the program for it? Maps in it will get you to the stages as most were used last year. Saw a program on Sat for this years(not got my own one yet) can't remember times but the stages are: Start Ramp in Inverness high street (Either 9:10am or 9.30) 1. Mulbuie (sp?) On the black Isle. Service (Dingwall mart) 2. Rogie by Contin Service (DM) 3.Tarlogie on the Struie past Ardross. 4. Not sure of name of forest but it's behind Kildary. Service (DM) 5. Rogie rerun Finish at the Thistle Hotel Inverness. Hope that helps [] Graeme
  24. Why dosn't everybody just use the avatar piccy under your user name on the left of screen? It's always worked in the past. They are tiny files so don't take time to load or get in the way of thread reading. Someone mentioned you will get to know peoples cars from signatures, but this can be done with your avatar & not a huge pic right across the screen.
  25. Ouch [:|] Looks like he hit the pole behind car.
