  1. Looks more like the WR1's ice blue metallic than the peppermint green wagon in the other link. If your after the paint code for ice blue it's 23G.
  2. [*-)]What happened to forum??? Wondered why there was a grey background then realised everythings changed!!! Not really that keen on format [:S] But it seems to work with ie7 better.
  3. There 3 cats on a bug WRX. Have you though about getting a bung for the exhaust? It would allow you to run quieter when you want to & you can pop it out when you want to annoy the neighbours Lol. Best of both & would prob be the cheapest option there is, eapecially if you want to keep the back box you have as it's the Bbox that really makes it loud. As your not sure what exhaust you have it's not so easy to order a bung for it but there is a guy through in Elgin called Nick who has his own place making custom exhausts(he does a lot of work on rally cars) can't mind the name of the company at the mo but it's custom something. He would be able to make you a custom bung to fit your Bbox i'm sure. Gee
  4. I think i recognise that car, did you buy it up North? From pic 2 showing side & interior i could swear it used to belong to a boy in Inverness, It's the wheels, cage & red seats that make me think this. Is it a RA?
  5. My rear nearside is knocking. Car's booked in for 20,000 mile sevice next week & mentioned it to them while on the phone, they said they'd have a look when it's in & prob swap both the rear struts.
  6. All depends what year your car is which ecu you could fit, some have differant plugs.
  7. Yep rear struts, Mine has been going for a while & since the other day is now knocking quite bad, most noticable at slower/town speed. Been waiting for this to happen as it seems every other newage has had them replaced at least once. Warranty claim if you have one.
  8. Hi Sandy, Yep that was me, heading into town for a sandwich before heading down the road for the day. Apoligies for not waving, lately i've been getting no wave back just odd looks when giving a wave or flash of the lights to most of the scoobs i see around. Not seen a WRC edition before i don't think, that'll explain the signature on the boot lid i was trying to make out(who's is it btw). Nice looking car mate, had a nice note of it to. Gee
  9. quote ~ ~ Cal ~~ Just had mine powercoated and have kerbed one already. They have zero protection from the tyre lip. Will 2nd that about no protection, kerbed mine in a car park [:'(] will be getting mine refurbed after winter.
  10. Just looks like any black sti really. As someone mentioned above it would have been better in the RB5 colour, then it would be more recognisable. As it is it'll be easy to stick on the grill mesh, wheels & lip spoiler & make any black sti look like it.
  11. Errr that'll be a NO Would have done the brakes & handling 1st myself.
  12. Yep hate those big sigs, couldn't agree more with you.
  13. Yep nice engine spec but not liking the F&F graphics. Amazing figure running 95ron they reckon over the 600 mark mapped for vpower(not available where owner lives). As it has been shipped in from abroad it's technically a Solberg edition (the 500 cars that were for the rest of europe & never got the Prodrive treatment, 265hp standard) not a WR1. Chris B's RCM built WR1 still runs a 2litre engine & puts out over 480hp (It's been featured in jap perf & banzai) with more to come keeping with the 2litre.
  14. Thats cool Colin, It was running in 2 wheel drive class as it's been converted to rwd only. They went out on stage 4 they were the last car through before it was cancelled, they couldn't figure out how there wasn't anything coming through after them till a marshal was sent into the stage to find them lol. They were recovered to the end of forestry road so we had to pack up then go find them.
  15. Nice pics Col [] Do you have any of car 163 a Blue Escort Cossie? I was servicing for it so never got out to the stages myself. It went out after stage 4 due to engine probs [] Gee
  16. If you want to see a WR1 in the flesh & on the go ( not on a forcourt) you'll need to come up North to Inverness & i'll take mine out for you to see & have a run in over the best twistys in Scotland [] There was pics up on NASIOC of mine a while back [] Dale i'll have more time for meets, runs etc very shortly as nearly finished renovating my old house for sale, thats whats keeping me busy at the mo [] Gee
  17. New colours! they're just using previous limited edition colours [] At least the WR1 doesn't have the ugly front thats on the new model so i'll be sticking with it []
  18. Good night again but as said pity about the weather. Glad i managed to get the time to pop along [] Got J's bumper clip back on & her Bro will sort it proper at the wknd.
  19. []Nice 1 Dale clean looking motor[Y] Liking the colour to [] As i said will try to make it on Wed night for the debut of the new machine at the meet. Gee
  20. Scared off? Na not me [] just didn't have the time for last meet & the 7pm starts not great for me. Lol think you did mention your fondness of the 1 [] She's filthy at the mo not had the time to tend to it either.
  21. Still here just been very busy & we were of sunning ourselfs in Portugal for a few weeks. Will see if we have time to pop along next week but won't make any promises.
  22. Well here's a vid of it on the move. Sounds awesome [] http://www.stiatv.co.nz/video/STi-ATV.wmv
  23. There is a garage sells super in Wick, just top up with OB. You should be able to get to wick & back on a tank if you brim it in Inverness. When we were trying to catch up with the RB run not so long ago we went from Inverness to John O'Groats & back to Inverness rather spirited & used a tank & 2 5l jerry cans. If your only going as far as Wick & take it a bit easier than we did you should be fine. Inverness to Wick is a 210mile round trip.
  24. Should make it along again []
  25. Thanks for the warning, need to keep a watch out for it.
