  1. What speakers are they Peter, look a bit like Linn to me!! P.S - I'll be across Tomorrow if thats ok.. (honest, i will make it this time!!)
  2. Subaru of fleabay?? Mainly wanting the downpipe to turbo one, £17 on ebay, will it be dearer from Subaru?? Can't find out as their parts dept is closed today..... Cheers Chris
  3. Perfect, cheers Ally, i'll buy 50ft, better to have to much than too little......
  4. Anyone got the answer to the wrap question?!?!??!
  5. Wilkommen.....
  6. Can't beat little games like this... Any advance on 74?
  7. Folks,Couple of questions Firsty, will 25 foot by 2 inches be enough heat wrap for a decat downpipe on a newage? Secondly - I'm putting on a classic up-pipe as it doesn't have a cat, it has the heatshielding in place, is it worth wrapping over that or am i talking rubbish, if so how much more wrap would i need? Once you wrap and put on the steel cable ties do you need to paint it or anything as i've seen some people have.... ? Cheers, Chris
  8. Good luck wi the new job then mate......
  9. Ouch, some nasty marks there... Makes me sick... take it the alarm didn't go off?
  10. Jus filled up at the Shell up the back of Milngavie.... Was 99.9 though, up about 6p per litre since i last used it....
  11. Yeh, was thinking i'll just go for the 1144's on the rears, again wi grooved n drilled discs, hoping they will hold out for another month or so till my funds replenish!
  12. D'oh, TBH it was a deal for discs and pads so prolly wouldn't have worked out better for me anyway.....
  13. Cheers for the advice all... Ordered the discs n 1155's after all that, got them for a really good price so they should be fine... as i say i'm not a "last minute hero" like Des [] so they should be fine. Are they noticeably weaker than OE when cold? Next question, who has changed front pads and discs on a Bugeye WRX, easy to do?
  14. Right, as it won't be going on track and i can't think of anytime in my life i've really "hammered" my brakes more than once i'm thinking the drilled should be fine then..... So... drilled n grooved wi 1144's on the front, standard at the back (for about 2 months as the pads are looking a bit thin) then i'll go for 5.1 fluid n goodridge lines....... Sound like a plan then?
  15. Would you recommend them though Des... what make of discs are they?? Are the 1155's not squealing when cold cos their more track orientated, its 1144's i'm looking at.... When you say you can hear them when the windows down is it loud?
  16. Looking Good... Wanna do something similar at some point although i need a garage first (and funds, lol)
  17. Just wondering if you noticed a difference in noise levels when you fitted them??
  18. And then what.. buy new discs, pads n tyres all round.... []
  19. Not 100% sure on whether it is my front or rears that are starting to "grind".... Anyone got any tips on best way to tell...?
  20. I'll drop them a line... Cheers...
  21. Anyone ever heard of the above.... shopping about for some new front brakes for my car and seen these in a couple of places, drilled n grooved and a decent price.... I'm not looking for anything amazing as i don't drive that hard and won't be tracking it... only concern is i don't want to buy anything worse than OE or anything that is likely to warp.... Any suggestions on these or any other decent "budget" brand....
  22. Didn't think they done the noise of the Vantage justice.... they revved the ferrari when the camera was outside but not the vantage..... I ain't a big fan of Aston's but last week i was behind an "06" vantage at lights and it was a gentle noise at tickover then when the lights changed the guy floored it and the noise was absolutely stunning...... Would still take the F430 mind you....
  23. I think that is pretty cool apart from the hood scoop.....
  24. I've been singing this all day... had some strange looks!
  25. Think that only works for classics mate..... thanks anyway tho....
