  3. gaugeplace.co.uk They do stock them I have Boost and AFR, if you get them, let me know how to fit them! Cheap as chips
  4. Yeh, more burble than stock system but defo not too loud! I had de-catted the centre section before doing the down pipe but there was a significant difference - the car gains circa 20-25lbs torque and you will be able to hear the turbo spooling up. Ill have a rake for the bb and will pm you
  5. Quite agree with this phenomenon: High boost driving medium fast = 190-210 miles per tank High boost driving fast fast = 230 miles per tank!!!!! Low boost avarage driving = 350 miles per tank
  6. Chris I have same car as yours and ran an STI bb, decat downpipe, decat centre and unresonated centre section, hence leaving the up pipe cat in and it was super quiet at all revs I now have Prodrive BB and decat up pipe and it is still 'relatively' quiet. It is certainly quiet enought to avoid unwanted attention! May even have a STI bb lying around
  7. Wuz, Mine seemed to sound not too bad in Marc's garage!!!!! The neighbours may disagree however! I agree that is not the loudest box though Not sure what mods you have but ive got a 2.5'' decat and mine flows quite well as far as I can tell
  8. Sorry Guys I cant make this , its my B'day today and Ive tried everything to fit this in , but alas too much on later today so Ill have to go AWOL! Watch out for the polis, snow, ice, faster cars and most of all-ENJOY Aw ra best Get some good snaps for me!
  9. Quite! Although Agent McLeish must stay For a while longer The Dons get better lookin every time I see them
  10. Nah, Chris is right - wont fit under WRX wheels They would fit under mine though.....................on second thoughts dont tempt me!
  11. Mine does it too sometimes, just as Cal says. I can live with it
  12. Andy, Ill pay close attention on the way back tonight to see if I share these symptoms! The 30k service which I recently had from one of the original Subaru gagrages - Melvilles, in perth was also £150 less than main dealer! After asking them expected cost for cambelt replacement they undercut main dealer by £150 also.
  13. No man, Well, ive got half back, should get the rest too in due course but its the principal TOO MANY JAKEYS AND SCUMBAGS
  14. QUALITY Cal Ebay has been ok for me in general .......................but I did end up with an intercooler made of playdo though

  16. First car - 1964 VW beetle - great car (except when the accelerator got stuck to the floor occasionally). Fully reconditioned inside and out& 1303S engine Then a 1991 Mk 2 VW Golf 16v Campaign Ltd Edition- will always be one of my favourites Ford Mondeo ST24- nice V6 noise but a bit boring Scoob - now my fav
  17. B.C - thats me LOL Bing Crosby and band have entered into group 2, may however change plans before start date to venture into group 1 and naturally drop back into 2 of course LOL
  18. I can fourth this G loves his cars too, had some good banter on cars beofre sorting me out with a 'no bad' quote. Well it was the best quote by a long way but i still think its too expensive........ but hey Top man
  19. Im sure peeps would agree that the downpipe SHOULD be wrapped. Its a real pain to do it once its on so you should arrange for it to be done before installation. Mine is wrapped but my up pipe isnt, and it runs like a sweety. I have noticed that underbonnet temps are high since all this de-catting etc so since COOL is good - get it wrapped!
  20. Chris, Get your toffee apples and monkey 'nuts' out you miserable old git. Why dont you get your Marilyn Monroe cossy out and earn somemore mod money! Or should it be Marilyn Manson!?
  21. Most places!, FST = £80 ish Will do most jobs
  22. Mon Andy you can do better than that Sounds good Grant, aint seen one in the flesh for a long time Aw the best with the sale, there's enough choice mods to attract interest there
  23. Stevie, You could climb inside as STi one mate and get lost before hitting your head off the intercooler on the way down...... ITS BIG
  24. Jambo, Initial investigation suggests a replacement is not far off 3 figures Where did you say Callums car was?
