  2. Good man, drop me a note the next time you are coming up, I work In Head Office and live in Glasgow We can be sad and talk about the poor quality of the hand grinding behind S&C machines etc :confused
  3. Thought so mate, I work for NWR. Have you been North of the border with that machine? Could do with some work on the S&C if you have a spare Saturday night!?!? Do you work for NRL or Serco etc?
  4. Warby, Is that the S&C or plain line grinder?
  5. Ha, it was a lighhearted review of Chris's followings, hadnt thought of the hair to be fair as he tells me its strawberry blonde
  6. "The Yukes D1 Impreza is sweet looking too, but you'd really need the orange base: " That will be no problem to Chris, he already has that. The spoiler looks a bit small though
  7. Chris, Go for the light blue matey, something different and all that
  8. Maybe the wee guy is Andy F's nephew Or maybe your car only goes fast if you're an Uncle?
  9. Dont worry about it Peter, By the time Chris reaches 700 brake he'll be towing a trailer of optimax behing him, then you'll leave him
  10. Agree with Cal, theres also a big difference in price! Stick with the Japo's
  11. Cheers Cal, we aim to please! I'll be visiting his good self shortly, so hopefully I may even make it on the track on Knockhill (one day!) Hows the tyres mate - did Uncle Ron sort you out? S
  12. Id been snooping about gathering a few bits and bobs for a while now so thanks to a few folks! Mods fitted included up-pipe, turbo, fuel pump, knocklink, dump valve, samco's, heat wrapped down pipe and some wing thing Marcs bat cave supplied the various required extras and Uncle Russ went to town !! I just made my excuses and supped corona in Soul Bar!!! Keeping off boost at the moment but the old heavy right foot is finding it hard to refrain!
  13. There he is
  14. After a long weekend moving flats, boozing heavily, missing KH on the Sunday and leaving my car in the very capable hands of Russell and Marc I thought I'd take this opportunity to say thanks to the afforementioned guys for all the work done to my car. Without boring people with fine details of the work done all I can say is I gave Russ my keys, went to the pub and came back some time later to find that Russ had stripped my car to the bones, built it back up with a few mods gave me some sound advice and sent me on my merry way! (not so much purring but growling and popping ) So for all you peeps looking for parts, advice and/or work done this is the place to go - you wont be dissapointed - its quality assured! Thanks again Steve
  15. Already done that chief

  17. Agree with Craig, I opted for option 1 after using a v small disc cutter to shape my bolt into the shape of a standard socket...but all i succeded in doing was to was to round off the bolt and make a mess of the stud. So I used a hammer and chisel and knocked away for about 45 mins until the bolt gave way. I required another stud however after impatient disc cutting! Good luck and have plenty of PATIENCE
  18. If you think thats bad................. I got a cobra 9 band detector as a present when these things started to come out and Ive only just realised that its probably for the U. S of F'ing A , not the UK! I guess that explains why my driving liscence is like reading a book LOL

  20. Chris, looks like your recent mods have been outdone matey... better luck next time....told you you should have gone down the NOS road
  21. I can confirm the excitement that Chris is trying to explain. I can also confirm that from both the pilot and co-pilots seat that the neck straining journey is well worthwhile. The so called low boost is frightening enough, its when the big red button that says 'DO NOT PRESS' is pressed that all hell breaks loose. This button should never be pressed - the manifold seems to grow arms and legs and the back box sounds like it has been split! Avoid the big red button at all costs...................... ............But it is MEGA fast though
  22. Leave Glasgow at 10am will be at cumbernauld services for 1030hrs 1. Gumball 2. Steve

  24. Not 100% sure but didnt think Swiggs started with an M!
