  9. yup, my 05 sti was running 1.8 bar no problems, it was the spark plugs that let me down Graeme

  11. Welcome to the forum, now there are 2 of us...hahahahaha
  12. Prodrive springs were a big improvement over the standard springs on my car, far less titty bounce on the motorways and when you do push it they give far better grip. they are softer when going slow and harder when pushing it on Graeme
  13. if your car is standard 95 is ok, even if the thought of modifying it crosses your mind switch to either V-Power or Tescos 99 Graeme
  14. Yes wheels must go, they look boggin, rest of the car is brand new. Bet your glad to be back with the burble Graeme
  15. Glasgow meets used to be at the weekend. When Billy stood down AllyB was the only one who wanted to take over the position at the time and he worked weekends thus the Glasgow date changing to a Thursday, along with not as important for family time and not interfering with football etc. Anyways thats why Glasgow meets are on a Thursday Graeme
  16. thats only cos you bought them out from under me....lol was saving up, then went to look and they were gone
  17. they are Rays 57F V Speed allowy Dont think they make them anymore Graeme

  20. Yea Scott that would be great. One question, whats that big open bit for that has been machined out of the top of the manifold for? Graeme
  21. mmmm, Ive flown from Glasgow to Exiter when I was joining a ship down in Plymouth, must have stopped it now OK scott, their main page does not work but if you use this one it comes up with flights http://www.flybe.com/timetable/?AID=102976...mp;WT.mc_id=cj1
  22. Hello, Was just wondering if anyone knew of someone running one of Tractives inlet Manifolds and what they think of the quality etc etc http://www.tracktive.co.uk/product.php?id=100085 Im toying with going for this for my build Graeme
  23. Ahh, but I would have had the defi style clocks, quick rack and a REAR WASH WIPE !!!!! amongst others I realy dont understand why we dont get a rear wiper in the UK where we need it the most (to help keep an eye out for the cops....lol) I suppose that if I had the slimmer JDM seats it may have given me more of an insentive to watch my weight so therefor owning a JDM helps to keep you healthy!!!....lol ( might still need to go on a crash diet as I have not sat in mine for a while now so dont know if I still fit Still not a fan of the Hatch but I detested the Hawk when it came out, but now I think it looks brilliant. Undoubtably the hatch will be a good car but at the moment the styling isn't for me but im sure that the Cosworth edition will be a stonking car if you can look past the focus looks and the bling bling rear lights I think to make the hatch a winner it needs different grille, larger looking scoop, larger flared arches and decent rear light clusters.....oh and an engine that does not go pop after a couple of thousand miles going by the ammount of failures posted on scabbynet / NASIOC etc Graeme
  24. If I knew then what I know now I would have had a JDM, but I just wanted an Impreza STI. what research I did at the time (15 min test drive) convinced me that I wanted the STI. Still very happy with my lot but the JDM would have been a better base. Just looking forward to converting mine from the Fred Flintstone mobile that it is at the moment due to that bloomin dodgy spark plug into my very own fire breathing monster (getting rather bored of the disastra and not being able to overtake anything more than a shopping trolley) Graeme
  25. looking good folks!!! I just wish I was getting paid more so I can get mine finished sooner I plan on having my build finished in less than a year or two Will be a good laugh if we can all get together up at knockhill at some point for a wee blast round the track Graeme
