Glad the bugger owned up, when I had my Rx8 I parked it in the Scottish office car park when it was 2 days old, came back from my 3 week trip at sea and found some bast*rd had dented the back door, ok once is unlucky, so I park it in the carpark again whilst I go back to sea again and 3 wks later when I get home someone had smashed the front of the car, twice there was no cctv available so couldnt even try track down the ars*holes that did it. anyway, rape the wee arse for all you can Graeme

Brian >> I got the car new on the 1st of Feb this year and got rid of it about 4 wks ago, so heres the list (mine was the 230bhp model) Pulled to the left Steering wheel wasnt on straight Oil light came on when oil want low so had to have the ecu reset drivers seat creaked Break disk hubs corroded wheel balancing weights corroded wheels corroded rusty brackets in engine bay paint was so thin you coul spit through it gearbox went tits up buzzing noise from dash from 6000rpm right up to 9500rpm excesive oil consumption using about 8L of oil in 6000 miles (should only be 1L per 1000-1500 miles) and the breaks squeeled and Mazda uk's customer service was crap as I reported the gearbox problem at 3000 miles and they turned round to me an told me it was up to me to prove to them that it was goosed (it only crunshed occasionaly) by 6000 miles it wa crunshing all the time so they agreed to change the gearbox but I was going to have to wait 2 months without a replacement car whilst a gearbox was sourced from Japan. It was getting so bad the car wa getting undrivable so I traided it in and lost £7000 (Subaru gave me more than Mazda were going to!!!!) So when S&S offered me the Scoob with 2 grand off I went for it Even with all the problems I realy loved the car and was pained to be forced to get rid of it, but I was left feeling "whats going to happen next" Ive got a knocking noise coming from the steering column on the Scoob and Subaru have been so helpful so far and are going to have the main Subaru technition have a look at it to find out what is wrong next Wed Graeme
