  1. Nice spot Chris Made me laugh cos I actually started saving for a Nova as that was the car I wanted as my first car. Prob just as well I ended up not getting one after seeing how easy they were to steal
  2. Ye prob should have mentioned the location Scotland east (Edinburgh & Fife) and west (Glasgow) and anywhere in between. All you good folk in the South are all welcome as is everyone
  3. Myself and Paul have been organising Monthly meets. Although they are not specific to Sidc and open for all to attend, they are posted to encourage new members and non facebook users as a chance to come and say hello. At the minute they are a bit of a munch and meet (thanks to Paul for that description ) The hope is when the lighter nights start coming in and the nicer weather these may include a run out aswell.
  4. See how you feel with it when we start getting the lighter nights and better weather Chris Hopefully there will be some runs organised which will re ignite the sparks between you and your Scoob
  5. Looking forward to hearing yours at some point Alun. I always liked Subaru's but must admit the sound of the burble was a big factor of the appeal, it is unique and can not be coppied. It's one of the only sounds that if i hear it coming I stop and look for the car. There are some nice sounding cars out there but only seem to be when the foot is down flat and they are giving it some. Subaru sounds awesome on full throttle or just pottering about the place.
  6. For me I like the Goodyear eagle F1's for winter. Pretty impressed with these and how much grip they have in all weather. Tyre noise was not really a notable difference considering how loud the car is anyway. Bridgestone Potenza for summer, they are unbelievable just how much Grip they have in the dry.
  7. Nice one Taffy. She is correct, F#ck the Astra and floor it
  8. I really need to get out and wash mine but it's not so easy with the crappy weather
  9. ahh ok, I just assumed you were in Scotland when you mentioned the Highlands. Ye some cracking roads up here for the Scoobs to really show what they can do.
  10. Hello Matt, welcome to the club. Hawk's are the best and you have it in the fastest colour too Where abouts in Scotland are you?
  11. Hello and welcome along. Nice car you have there
  12. +1 For Keith Michaels if you have mods. Sometimes not the easiest to contact but worth the try. Admiral where the cheapest until I wanted to mod then they did not want to know.
  13. Only place I can think of is Ra motorsport which is in Perth or Hypertech at Falkirk might be worth a look. Someone in the West will prob give you a better idea for someone more local to you.
  14. I believe Dastek have had some staff changes recently as a friend of mine used them once or twice and I was a bit unsure of them but thats just my opinion. Hypertech seem to have a great modern set up for alignment, I will be looking at using them for my anti lift kit and alignment/geometry set up.
  15. I recently got a whiteline rear anti-roll bar fitted and what a difference First chance to test it properly on the back roads yesterday and very impressed with how the car handled. Back of the car feels much tighter with none of the lean that used to push it over the white lines. Next on the list is the anti lift kit
  16. Congratulations to you both Paul. Just as well the Subaru is a good family car
  17. 13. sti and I'm still about but must admit I'm guilty of not posting much recently.
